Managed to get a great rate here
Managed to get a great rate here at the last minute, the hotel is in a very good location - so close to Central Park and located just 2mins from times square. A nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of times square. Service was good and overall impression hotel was clean. Room small but that's standard for NYC. Would stay here again

Best choice for my first time in NYC
It was my first time in NYC and alone. So since the beginning I was pleased with the location. Just a few steps from the entrance there was a subway station, tourism busses stops, very short walk from Central Park, one block from a rental car office, two blocks from shopping places. What more can I ask for? I had no problem moving around the main attractions of NYC. More than that, no matter how late at night was, I always felt save to get in or out, because there's planty of people aoutside all the time.

Great location for money
Park Central is the best priced Midtown hotel in terms of value for quality and location. It's clean, well-decorated, and in a perfect location. We spent three nghts there and loved every second.

Carmines is a great pre- theater or post theater restaurant with great atmosphere. Meals served family style and very affordable. Outstanding old New York place.

An EXCELLENT!! location, location, location.... in Manhattan, close to Central Park, Broadway, Time Square, Museums, Subway Stations, Banks, Restaurants, etc. Nice room, very comfortable beds!! Would definitely stay there next time I'm in The Bi Apple!

The Park Central is very convenient
The Park Central is very convenient being located adjacent to a subway station and surrounded by "deli" cafes and restaurants. It is only a short walk to Times Square and Broadway and an even shorter walk to Central Park. Some of the decor and fittings are a little tired but the rates and location more than make up for that.

The room
Very quiet and satisfactory. The location couldn't have been better. The price was right . They charged me $100. to offset any additional expenses I might have at the end of the trip. All I had was a $1.?? phone call which they credited. I have a receipt for that but forgot to ask for a credit of the rest of the $100. I hope it shows up on my bill.
