The hotel was but the room was a bit hot and you can't control the heat. We opened the window and it was all good. Restaurant and bar are under renovation :(

Nice comfortable room
We had play tickets and needed a place for one night. The Park Central had a great location, helpful staff and very comfy beds.

Great location
We were able to check in early and the room was a great size. Very comfortable bed. You can't beat the price and location of this fabulous hotel. We will stay there for all of our NY trips!

Great Stay
Park Central was a great stay. It's location is perfect for the sightseer. It's a few blocks from everything in Midtown. Beds were fantastic and rooms spacious (hard to find in NYC). The hotel is newly renovated and it shows. Installed is a fantastic elevator system that gets you to your hotel quickly.

Great location, updated and very clean
I have been to NYC many times and stayed in many different hotels and chains. This hotel was one of the best ever, especially for the price and location. Close enough to the park and times square that walking was usually the best mode of transportation. Subways near by. Lots of deli's and resturants. Carnigie Hall across the street. Clean and well maintained. Had to pay for slow internet, but that is the only complaint.

Stay away from Ben Ash deli. Too expensive and crowded. A ridiculus amount of food in a simple sandwhich. Very wasteful.

Nice place
After browsing through many hotels in NY decided on Park Central for a family trip. The location is truly great: 5 min. from the Central Park and 10 min. from the Times Square. The subway station is behind the corner. One thing though, the staff will go through the room cleaning routine around 8 am. If you had "don't bother" sign, you have to tell them yourself to clean the room (there are no "Clean now" tag) and sometimes they "forget" anyway. Also, our bathrom smelled.

The busy Dad
Nice hotel for the price
We just needed a place to spend the night and at $159+tax the Park Central was quite reasonable. The room was not perfect but it was comfortable with a nice TV, king bed and adequate space. It is very conveniently located on the 7th Avenue. The bathroom could use some attention though. The drainage was slow and the amenities were basic, but it was definitely functional

Worldtraveled prince of suburbia
No need to practice!
Located just across the street from famed Carnegie Hall,Park Central New York offers a welcome relief from most tight squeeze hotel rooms that surround Times Square.A gorgeous Central Park is only a short stroll away as well as Lincoln Center,Moma,or $hopping on 5th Ave.A helpful,friendly staff only added to our quick stay.Hope to be back asap!

rooms very basic .no way 4 star
rooms very basic .no way 4 star .very handy for all manhattan attractions with the subway on your doorstep.rooms cold most of the time the heating only on between hours of 6pm to ten pm.great for thanksgiving parade .very expensive for accommodation standard .only 4 star in the reception area .Lastly the description of a room as superior kingsize misleading this is the basic room , the conceirge rooms better only in as much as you get a coffee machine per reception desk staff. all in the best that could be said is adequate
