Park Central New York

This hotel offered a reasonable charge for room rental. That's it, but nothing more, No water, No coffee. Bare bone hotel!

The lobby area looked recently updated and fantastic but the rooms above left a little bit to be desired. Otherwise a fantastic experience.

room not the cleanest feeling, seemed to be a bother to staff , tipping didnt seem to get me any extra, elevators not all working had to go to opposite side of building and then those elevators wouldnt stop at our floor at checkout ,called front desk said they would send someone up, no one came, climd down stairs 2 flights with luggage over each shoulder and both hands. 5 bellman shooting the breeze in lobby, 500.00 a night i suggest the ritz for 400+ a night never stayed there but i vwill next time

My daughter & I were very happy with the location and easy access to transportation (taxi, subway etc), many restaurants nearby and great shopping at walking distance not to mention Central Park , Radio City Music Hall , Rockefeller Center and other interesting sites. The hotel has a confusing system for elevator service where you must register your floor prior to entering the elevators as the interior calls buttons don't work - weird.

This is a good location, lots of deli-ish food close by, Carnegie Hall across the street, easy walking straight down 57th Street for great shopping. Elevator system a little weird - took some getting used it. And a $15 a day fee to use wireless internet in guest room, which I thought was high. Overall a good value.

The hotel was very nice. The location was great and the price was right. Overall a very good experience.

This hotel is older and could use some upgrading. The Lobby is very inviting but once upstairs to where rooms are, the halls are narrow and need new carpet. The rooms are very small and the walls are very thin. Everything is at an additional cost. There was no coffee maker in our room so we had to go downstairs to the lobby and pay. The internet was additional in their business center, as well as checking our bags to be held until our departing flight. For the nightly price it cost more that if we would have stayed elsewhere with a more expensive nightly room charge.

Our stay was good eventhough its pricey. There was no free wifi even at the hotel lobby which was inconveniened. Location was the main factor in choosing this hotel. Getting around was easy as there was a subway station just around the building. All the main attractions of Times Square and Restuarants was within walking distance which was nice.

This hotel was located perfectly, it was clean and convenient. But I cannot think of a single reason why I would choose it again. In fact, I would probably try some other hotel. I found the staff especially unfriendly. When we asked how we could go to the Metlife Stadium, they said the cheapest way was to take their car service ($85). We took a cab instead for 50 bucks, and came back with train for 8 dollars! I understand they are trying to run a business, but lying should not be the way to go. If I want to summarize my experience with Park Central in one word, it would be blah.
