The hotel was but the room was a bit hot and you can't control the heat. We opened the window and it was all good. Restaurant and bar are under renovation :(

Great location but old & run down
Great location but old and decaying a bit. Other guests seemed kind of "unhip". Kind of creepy too - long hallways, deserted.

Great location but otherwise marginal
The lobby was frenetic when I arrived; the alarm clock in the room was broken; the elevators painfully slow; some of the fitness center equipment broken; and the iron was scorched on the bottom. The worst was they charged me to store a bag for an hour when I went to lunch. To its credit, it's in a wonderful location. Not my favorite hotel in NY.

Park central new york
Went to visit family. Room quite comfortable. One of the two phones didn't work, missing do not disturb sign, and not surprisingly $15/day internet. About time all hotels included internet like electricity and TV. Other than that quite comfortable with convenient location.

The Park Central Hotel was horrible never stay again The elevators extremely slow and sometines not working. The room decor was old rug torn, curtains dirty furniture chipped and used I have thrown away better. No tissue in the bath for 2 days, poorcell phone recption for a business traveler a real problem there were people picketing out front about bed bugs would not recommend this place.

Great location
Great location!! Room overall was great-a little dark, only one small window. 3 blocks to central park, same street to Times Square. great restaurants and interest within short walking distance.

We ate at Several Wonderful places. Park Cafe across the street was had great but pricey breakfast, Loved Cafe Metro-good prices.

nice place 4 a quick overnight getaway
In NYC 4 daughters play, hotel was accessible 2 subway & walking distance from times square only had hot/cold water in sink, not able 2 combine 4 warm water, would stay again!
