Family trip to the Big Apple
Park Central New York hotel was perfect! Right in the heart of everything New York - three short blocks to Central Park, a quick walk to Times Square (we went every night), close to many subway stations. The staff was outstanding - the doormen out front, the front desk clerks, the guest services gal, the bartenders, the porters, and Linette our housekeeper. Really a quality hotel all the way around! Can't wait to go back!

Kitty Corner from the hotel is Fluffy's Cafe. Excellent Breakfast - from 85 cent FRESH donuts to about $7 buck for 2 eggs, home fries, bacon & toast made to order! And lunch was great too!

Clean & Quiet with a great location
A very comfortable room at a good price. Very courteous and friendly staff, Great food at the City House in the lobby. A terrific location very near Central Park, Carnegie Hall, Carnegie Deli, Subway stations, and a short walk to Times Square and the theater district. If Broadway is your thing this is the hotel for you.

Walk south on Seventh Ave to 50th st and grab a slice of pizza at Famous Famiglia Pizzaria and then on to the theater.

Awesome night in the city
Booked this hotel last minute for only one night. Had a wonderful experience! Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was close to Times Square, Central Park, and good restaurants. Room was surprisingly big for NYC and clean. Would definitely recommend Park Central Hotel to others and would definitely stay here again!!!

Great first trip to NY
The staff was great. They were very helpful and polite. The rooms are dated but nice. The air conditioning needs to be updated badly. Our room was not as cool as we would have liked for it to have been. I can't imagine what it would be like in the hotter months.

No frills, perfect for a business trip. The staff was helpful in getting us a cab when we were worried we were going to miss our flight - certainly appreciated that!

Great location!
Just a few blocks from the Times Square and a block away from the subway, this hotel was the perfect choice for me and my family/friends to get to know NY in a weekend. Walking distance from our Broadway show as well as from the Central Park, this hotel has everything you need without costing an arm and a leg. The only thing I'd like to complain but I forgot was that the day I checked out and I needed to use the restroom at the lobby it was pretty dirty...

Cafe Europa. Look for Noeli the waitress and make sure you try their crepes. Any kind, any flavor. They are all fantastic! A block (or 2?) from the hotel, it was my choice for breakfast every morning!

A Great Loication but AC Not Working on 80o Day!
We have stayed at the Park Central before. It's a decent hotel that is is usually good value for the price point. however this last stay we had to move on our last night, before an important performance because we were notified the night before that the AC was going to be worked on and the off from 9AM till 9PM on an 80o day. Better to do maintenance on this during the cooler months. This was not acceptable and we paid for a night we could not use, as getting ready for our special day while sweating was not an option.

Love NYC
Very good option in the City!
Good hotel, very well located: close to Central Park, Subway right next to the hotel, 2 blocks from great shopping at 5th avenue. Had to pay USD3.75 for each luggage kept before check in and after check out until we went to the airport - it should be included in the price, in my opinion. Also, internet is not free and was charged twice - I complained and got all days for free. Staff, not very friendly, but OK when got good tips. Would stay again for location and value.
