Overview
Midtown Manhattan's Park Central Hotel is famous for its illustrious past and current design. Built in 1927, the hotel combines the glamor of 'The Roaring Twenties' with a contemporary feel that was enhanced through a massive renovation in 2013, headed by award-winning firm Jeffrey Beers International.  From the dark-stained milkwork detailing to the geometrically-patterned carpets and tufted fabric headboards, the hotel has quirky attitude and the bathrooms' porcelain tiles arranged in a piano-like pattern give a nod to neighbor Carnegie Hall.

Ever since it was constructed, the Park Central Hotel in New York has seen many acclaimed guests walk its halls, including First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, and legendary comic Jackie Gleason. Today, the hotel's 761 rooms and over 15,000 square feet of meeting space accommodate both leisure guests and business people.

Great three generation trip

Yes, hotel met our expectations, apart from noise level from adjoining room. However, I don't know if being able to hear your neighbouring guests talking is the same throughout the hotel. We found the transport to airport booked via the hotel to be an excellent service, apart from a minor hiccup at our scheduled departure time. The location of the hotel is excellent, as you can see right down to Time Square, it is within easy walking distance to Central Park and other interesting areas. Morag Miller

Great location.

Location perfect. Most of staff friendly and helpful. Beautiful lobby. Nice rooms. No kettle but brought our own. No fridge in room but not major issue. Towels could be fresher and gym fee a bit much if you dont use it but overall would stay there again.

Great location and roomssadly bar facilities lacking!

My experience overall with the exception of the bar was very positive. Had not stayed there for 3 years and was very impressed with the refurbisment lovely job on the bedrooms and bathrooms, they are very modern and beds very comfortable. My only complaint would be the bar, came back from a meal out at 11.10 and was very rudely informed that the bar was closed and we could go to an irish bar down the street if we wanted a drink, I think in this day and age its a litle unacceptable if a guest wants a drink after a night out at the reasonable hour of 11.10 and more or less told tough!!!

The worst Hotel Ever!! Worst experience in New York

We got to the hotel and their hotel system was down. There is a line for their Elevator since only one elevator is working. Then their system was down and we were waiting for our room key to get in for four hours on the hall way. When we call them they told us that they will be there soon but we waited for four hours. We were not the only customers who had issue, they didn't do anything about it too. It was just very very awful experience. The worst Hotel experience in New York City. The hotel is a great location! and it could have been a great stay if they put more effort
