fantastic
the hotel was great the airline was good and we did everything there was to be done in NYC in 3 days. The staff and conciere were fabulous.

We also loved staying at the Omni..
We have been staying at the Omni for both business trips and for pleasure trips. We are NEVER disapointed. It is a large hotel but has a boutique feel to it.

The Right Place
The bed was so comfortable, soft and clean. I was traveling with my small Maltese puppy and the room was very private, quiet and warm which made both of us feel safe.

Problems with Omni Berkshire
Check-in was good. Tub in room needed repair which was fixed before departure but should have been repaired before the room was used. It also had mold on the shower curtain - housekeeping should have taken care of both! They shorted us a wash clothe - I called the front desk and they never did send one! Asked for directions and they were totally wrong TWICE: we had to find the location on our own! The guys out front greeting were the best!!!!

Long walk from hotel
Plan on a cab to everywhere. Times Square/ Rockefeller are not close walking distances (30-45 minute walks). Save money - go cheaper and be closer to Times Square and the sites we tourists want to see.

New York 2009-Fantastic Getaway
The staff were very helpful in finding out store hours and distances for us when we were in a time pinch. They were also very friendly and pleasant.

Virgils BBQ just off of Broadway is absolutley amazing! It is excellent food and the portions are big so we shared our dinner items.

Omni Berkshire New York
I love this hotel. I think it is great value for the money. The location is fabulous. We ate at 2 great restaurants , each about 1 1/2 blocks away. It is also within walking distance of the theatres, stores, and some museums. The staff is friendly and always willing to help.

Great Location for the Price

Most awesome place we have ever stayed!!
This was the best vacation we have ever taken. Loved New York, all the attractions, the hotel and its staff were amazing, they treated you like family or long lost friends if I ever get the chance to come to New York again I will absolutely stay at Omni Berkshire Place!!! We didn't wanna leave...

From the minute we arrived the
From the minute we arrived the service in this hotel was awesome. The door man held an umbrella while we exited the cab in the rain and ensured our bagged was unloaded. The room was as expected! House Keeping services in this hotel were exceptional! House keeping always went the extra mile to ensure your room was clean and tidy. Good location in New York, a 5 to 10 minute walk away from broadway and the theater. Marlyin, a concierge was knowledgeable and suggested excellent places to dine in the cuisines of our desire. The breakfast menu in the Fireside restaurant down stairs was a little expensive, but the dinner there was quite reasonable. Room service was timely and enjoyable! Overall, on my next visit to New York i will definitely be considering staying at the Omni Berkshire.
