Great stay for great price
I was very happy with this hotel. I was able to find a good deal and I have to say the location is amazing, you turn the corner and you're in Time Square, great staff and the room was super clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. There's a bar in the entrance, I didn't eat at their restaurant but everything looked good. No free breakfast but it doens't really metter because you can easily find a bite to eat around the city. I don't use internet when I'm in vacation but I know they have wireless and I believe is free. The information desk in the lobby provides you with all kinds of maps and tip books to tour the city. It was perfect and I would love to stay there again.

Great Location
Perfect central location, great for getting all around New York. Room had a fantastic view of Times Sq. Some aspects of the hotel a little bit dated, but overall very happy with my stay.

Great location but overpriced and no free wifi
It was fine for one night, but next time I come to NYC I would rather save some money and stay at the Holiday Inn.

Great Location, Clean Room

Molyvos Greek Restaurant across from the Park Central Hotel at 7th Ave and 56th Street. Excellent, authentic Greek food, fresh whole fish, attentive waitstaff

City Break
The Novotel Times square is in a perfect location for a short break, If you stay here stay in a times square view room great views night or day.We requested a high floor room but only ended up on the 19th floor the friends we went with did not request a floor and ended up on the 32nd floor so it pays to take pot luck. The balcony that is on two sides of the hotel both over looking times square is perfect for a evening drink, On the whole the hotel is a good budget hotel.

Convenient, clean, and cost efficient
For a Times Square hotel, the Novotel was ideal. The rooms and bathroom were clean (although not incredibly spacious - but hey, it's New York). The location is not bad either. You're in the middle of the theater district with Broadway plays only steps away from the hotel, 2 blocks away from the subway station on 53rd, David Letterman is across the street, and Times Square is a 2 minute walk away. When we arrived we asked for, "a room with a view," and you may have to pay a little extra, but I thought it was worth it. The hotel has beautiful views of Times Square and Broadway. Since the hotel is not directly located in the middle of Times Square, you have the Times Square views without all the noise and street traffic below. My only complaint is that Wi-fi is not free in the rooms - it's $9.95 for 24hrs. However, the hotel does have 3 computers in the lobby for guests. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it.

weekend escape
central theatre district-midtown location
This is a great place if you need a base of operations for a theatre weekend in NYC. All Broadway, many Off-Broadway, and the TKTS booth are a five minute walk or less. MoMA is a few blocks away. Lots of great restaurants and easy subway connections nearby. Rooms are clean, and a good size. Great patio on the Lobby (7th floor) level for a drink and fantastic view. Rates are always good.

Fantastic stay
This was a surprise 40th birthday present from my husband and we couldn't have asked for more. The location was amazing and the view from our room was straight onto times square. Seeing how busy it was, the room was surprisingly quiet. I cannot praise the staff highly enough, they were polite and very efficient. Only downside was the price of drinks in the bar - $7 for a bottle of water (plus the 9% tax). Would recommend to anyone.
