Great stay for great price
I was very happy with this hotel. I was able to find a good deal and I have to say the location is amazing, you turn the corner and you're in Time Square, great staff and the room was super clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. There's a bar in the entrance, I didn't eat at their restaurant but everything looked good. No free breakfast but it doens't really metter because you can easily find a bite to eat around the city. I don't use internet when I'm in vacation but I know they have wireless and I believe is free. The information desk in the lobby provides you with all kinds of maps and tip books to tour the city. It was perfect and I would love to stay there again.

This is a great place if you need a base of operations for a theatre weekend in NYC. All Broadway, many Off-Broadway, and the TKTS booth are a five minute walk or less. MoMA is a few blocks away. Lots of great restaurants and easy subway connections nearby. Rooms are clean, and a good size. Great patio on the Lobby (7th floor) level for a drink and fantastic view. Rates are always good.

Fantastic stay
This was a surprise 40th birthday present from my husband and we couldn't have asked for more. The location was amazing and the view from our room was straight onto times square. Seeing how busy it was, the room was surprisingly quiet. I cannot praise the staff highly enough, they were polite and very efficient. Only downside was the price of drinks in the bar - $7 for a bottle of water (plus the 9% tax). Would recommend to anyone.

Great experience!
This is a really nice hotel with a great location, just near the Ed Sullivan Theater and easy walking right into the Times Square Area. It's also just a few blocks from Rockefeller Center. We had a nice view of the city. The only negative was no lotion with the provided items in the bathroom. We requested some, but never saw anything of it. Overall, a great experience!

Great Experience
Check in was fast and easy. The staff was great. The location was convenient. I wanted Times Square. The hotel is one block off of broadway and Time Square. This was a perfect scenario because you weren't "right in the thick" of it but close enough to everything. The room was large (2 double beds) and the bathrooms clean and well stocked. The parking garage is very convenient to the Novotel and was nice and clean. The service by both the hotel and garage staff was superb!

Good location with decent size room
My son and I were looking at colleges in NYC. We had arrived from DC having stayed at a Kimpton Hotel. After a 4 hour ride, we were ready to relax and regroup. I proceeded to empty out part of the "minibar" in the room to put our own drinks in. There was a small tag on minibar I did not read. By chance, I picked up the hotel information page and proceeded to read that the minibar was sensored so that every time something was removed, your hotel account was charged. I had just removed 6 sodas! I complained to front desk and the man was kind enough to remove charges. He said he would send up an empty refrigerator that evening. It never arrived. Having come from a high end hotel and frequently traveling, this is the first time I encountered a self charging minibar. This should have been something written on check in paperwork which the customer signs off on as proof of disclosure. The only other complaint I have, focused around cleanliness. The night we checked in, there was a used room service tray(partially eaten food, etc) on the hallway floor two rooms away. Upon returning the following day after a long day out, the same used tray with partially eaten food was still out in the hallway. The following day after getting back to hotel at 8:00 pm, the same tray was still there! I had to call down to front desk to get someone to come up and take tray away. Each day our room was cleaned and serviced. How is it the woman cleaning that part of the floor does not notify someone in room service to pick up dirty tray? Not sure where the breakdown in service exists but this would never happen at a Kimpton hotel! Hotel does have a great gym and guests do not hear any of the city noise!

Great Place to Stay for a NYC Weekend!
The location of this hotel is FANTASTIC! It is right near the theatre district, but we walked to a few performances at Lincoln Center, and there are taxis galore as well as the subway and busses. It was just perfect for a weekend of shopping, theatre, and dining out. There was a great Ramen Noodle restaurant nearby, and tons of little places to check out. The room was a good sized one for New York. The bathroom was very nice, the room was clean and comfortable, and we had a fantastic view of New York City on the 18th floor. The only complaint I would have about the room was it really needed new carpeting. The carpeting was quite worn and had a dingy look. Everything else, however, was very nice. The staff was GREAT. When we first arrived we had a light snack and drinks in the lounge, and the waiter was very good and everyone there was friendly. The front desk staff was courteous, efficient, and pleasant. When we decided to stay an extra day, they had no room available, but they got us a reservation in an affiliate hotel nearby, on a Saturday night. They were quite apologetic for not being able to have us stay there longer. The decor in the lobby and lounge is great, kind of retro modern, very fun! We loved this hotel and would definitely go back.

Memorable Stay
This was my 2nd stay at this hotel and they had improved in all areas. The room quality was superior and the hotel lobby was designed beautifully. I stay for 3 days during my New York trip and booked this hotel before one month. I had got upgraded deluxe room which was beautifully designed and I found all required amenities. I was very impressed with wireless Internet facilities which work very well this time while in my previous visit I faced too much problem. The hotel restaurants had some great kind of food, especially Chinese was amazing. The hotel is on ideal business location and located in Times Square area and only 17 Miles from New York International Airport. I recommended Novotel for their excellent services, friendly staffs and great food. I had booked Novotel hotel through [@]
