Brilliant!
Excellent hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms compact with the usual traffic noise (NYC-what else do you expect?). Very modern, clean and tidy. Good complimentary continental breakfast. Individual AC that actually works ( a bit loud), plus a very quiet room ceiling fan. Location perfect, literally 3 mins walk to Little Italy and some really good restaurants, so no taxi fares for evening dinner. China town is a massive 5 mins walk. Area very safe. Absolutely no faults. Would love the opportunity to stay again.

Heart of Nolita
Nolita is a wonderful area in NYC. I had always traveled more to the mid-town area on business, but was brought to this area to visit my son who is in NY on an internship and found an apartment in this area. The Nolitan looked great for my visit, and proved to be as good or better than I expected based on reviews. It has a very "European Modern" kind of feel, and reminded me of past visits to Reykjavik. Decidedly not one of the major hotel chains. Relatively small in size, but lovely rooms, and great location close to Little Italy, Chinatown, NYU and Wall street. Lobby restaurant for breakfast, and a parking garage next door. Many, many eating establishments within walking distance. Highly recommended.

Great Nolita boutique hotel
Except for construction in the first floor lobby (closing the restaurant and bar) during our recent stay, we would have rated this higher. A very positive stay, in all, though.

Great new LES stay
Staff was very friendly and helpful, amenities were top-notch, room was superclean, location was superb for walking to all the Lower Manhattan sites, plus it's close to great restaurants and bars and subways. The only downside for light sleepers is that the rooms can be noisy given the loud A/C (which won't be an issue in winter) and the location on the road to the Williamsburg bridge.

such a great hotel. Really well designed, the rooms seem small at first (well it is New York) but they work. Great staff and delicious restaurant. Borrow a bike and cycle to the river.

Great hotel; fascinating neighborhoods
Located on an unpretentious street at the crossroads of Chinatown, Little Italy and Soho, this new and uber-trendy hotel escapes pretentiousness by offering a great staff, a friendly vibe and lots of interesting things to do and see. The rooms are small-typical for New York, but engineered to make the most of available space. Things can get a bit noisy on the street at night, but I was not disturbed and loved the porch that opened on to the lively scene. One of the best of many hotels that I have enjoyed in New York.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Nom Wah Tea Parlour on Doyers. A quiet enclave with a violent history. The restaurant offers great dim sum off a comprehensible menu, as an alternative to the clatter of carts and the arrival of unknowns.

Two Days - Exactly Right
After rescheduling trip plans due to Hurricane Irene, we booked this hotel at the last minute. Great staff, human-voice wake up call, truly ulta comfy bed and shower. Location is for shoppers, foodies, and NYU parents. We had Cantonese for lunch, Gelato in-between, Cuban for breakfast, Balthazar for dinner. Tiny, but well designed room- we were travelling light, but under other circumstances, very little drawer and closet space.
