Times square view fake
View was not famed Times Square Bldg as the city has added 2ND building that appears to be historic bldg but is only a fake . I have lived in NY and this bldg had no New Years Eve ball on the top. We later were at street level and seen the historic bldg. So as far as I was concerned we were charged to look at street not the famed bldg we went to view.

Great location, Amazing view!
Great location with room overlooking Times Square. We enjoyed resting between sight-seeing with a marvelous view of all the excitement in Times Square 24/7. High above Times Square with no noise at all! Close to everything. Once we learned the subway system we could go anywhere in the city in minutes. All Broadway shows within a few minutes walk.

Awesome stay
We came into town for the 2010 New York Marathon. The hotel was first rate. The rooms were clean, spacious and we had an awesome view of Times Square. We didn't spend too much time in the room. Because there is so much to do in New York, I wouldn't pay too much for extras (like the view). The location is great too. Right near several subway lines. There is lot to do for the "tourist" and you are close enough to jump on the bus or subway to venture out. We took in a Broadway show too which was a pleasant surprise; it was much more than what I anticipated. Truly a wonderful experience (Lion King). I will stay there again for sure.

What a wonderful 60th Birthday!
This was a celebration of my 60th birthday which I spent with my three sisters. The only way I could have improved it would have been to say longer. The staff was helpful and gracious, the food wonderful and the location was perfect. When planning my next trip to NYC I will definately stay at the Marriott Marquis.

Excellent Hotel!
Perfect location to all that is happening in New York's Time Square! With this being my fourth trip in the last 1 1/2 years, the Marriott Marguis is the best so far! The Marriott has an awesome 8th floor lobby with the Broadway Lounge overlooking the heart of Times Square, perfect for an afternoon cocktail! Concierge was more than helpful..especially with dinner reservations! Had an ADA room with a walk-in shower, perfect for my guest with special needs. Thanks to the Marriott staff for making this such a memorable trip!

Could not ask for a better location
We were in NYC for the Maceys Day Parade, Broadway shows and the excitement of Time Square. We always stayed outside the city on past visits but will now return to the Marriott Marquis. The service from staff could not have been better.
