Short walk from hotel
try the hop on hop off bus, gives you a lot of history and very well priced to get around the city, we had it for three days.

Great stay
For an NYC hotel, the room was quite spacious. Appeared recently remodeled, the room was classic, comfortable, and clean. The staff was excellent and helpful and location was within easy walking distance of many tourist spots. I will definitely stay here during future visits.

Hotel was very nice, but the pillow selection was less than perfect. The location was very good. Easy to walk to many of the attractions.

Great Stay!
Went down to the city for my sister's bachelorette party for the night. The room was spacious, beautiful and comfortable... compared to other NY hotels who have rooms the size of a bathroom and charge a lot of $400 + for it. The staff were friendly and didn't mind taking time to take pictures (with all the cameras) of the girls night out! We went to the Habana Room for dinner (good food, but SLOW service! We were waiting for our food for almost an hour and they ran out of some favorite appetizers by 8:00pm?!?!) There are other places you can eat around the corner, however eating there got us FREE entrance to the Latin Quarters (LQ) Club (saved us $15), but you have to hunt them down for it!!

Happy Travel Girl
Excellent Price, Fantastic Hotel
Quick check-in, clean/spacious/modern room, perfect location. We saw a braodway show, shopped on 5th Ave, visited Little Italy and China town, went to MoMA and had fantsatic meals. The hotel was in a safe location that made getting around a cinch and the price we got was unbeatable for the quality of the hotel. Will definatley repeat this stay next time in NY.

The good, the bad, and the really ugly"
My sister and I were accused of smoking in our room and were charged 250.00. There were no signs in the room stating it was non-smoking room, let alone a sign that said "There is a 250.00 fine if you do smoke in this room".The housekeeper that came to our door knocked so hard My sister and I were "Frightened". We are a 60 and 63 year old sisters going to the "big city " from Rhode Island to celebrate the 60th birthday of one of us.
