Great Stay
My son and I stayed only one night but for what little time we stayed it was great. The staff were professional, helpful and very nice to my son. Without asking, they brought up a bed for my son even though we had a king. We were able to check in early, which was very helpful.

family getaway
This particular trip we brought our two girls, ages 9 and 12. The suite we stayed in was just right for the entire family. Rooms were large enough and very clean. Nice location and very friendly staff. We will stay here on future visits.

An old jewel in NYC...
The Regency has a storied history a great location right on Park Avenue and still hosts some of the cities top movers and shakers for a power breakfast. It's a wonderful place for business and highly recommended for a hard working and friendly staff.

Regency Hotel
We went to NYC to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and to visit our daughter who lives in Manhatten. The hotel was beautiful. The weekly housekeeping was great. However, the Saturday housekeeping - not so much. The housekeeper on saturday left dirty glasses in the main room and a dirty towel in the bathroom. I was VERY disappointed in that.

NYC weekend trip
We arrived at 3pm and the hotel checked us in and had a room ready. We didn't have any bags but the front desk attendant still had a bell hop take us to our room (we thought this was weird) - so, we had to tip him. The room was really big and clean. There was some wear and tear that was obvious - but the room was comfortable. The location is nice. It's not super loud in that area, so it's nice to walk around in. We didn't appreciate the fact that the hotel charged us $15/per day for Internet. By now, all hotels should provide that free of charge. All and all, the hotel is nice. Oh, the hotel does offer babysitting service. We didn't try it out, though.

Loews Regency EXCELLENT for Families!
We took a quick trip to NYC to visit a friend who lives on the Upper East Side . . . so, when looking for hotels, I limited myself to this neighborhood specifically. We were traveling with our 11-month-old, so having a nice hotel that would be appropriate for children was key in my search. As soon as we checked in, I knew I had made an excellent choice. The lobby was gorgeous and the front desk was beyond accommodating. We were checked in early (about 1:00 pm) and given a spacious room with a kitchenette -- something we hadn't requested but turned out to be a lifes-saver! The gentleman at the front desk also presented my son with a little Fisher Price toy that absolutely delighted him in every way. So nice! We were offered both a crib and a pack & play, but ended up using the pack & play for everything we needed. They also delivered a little travel toiletry kit for the baby -- again, incredible thoughtfulness. We ended our stay with Brunch at the Library. Beautiful space that wouldn't necessarily seem kid-friendly . . . wrong again. The waiter gave my son a colorful plastic slinky within 10 minutes of our being seated and there was a play space set up for some of the older children adjacent to the dining area. I'm still amazed on how this hotel manages to be high-end and child-friendly all at the same time. I would definitely return -- with or without the baby as the space was beautiful and the service fantastic. Two blocks from Central Park and the Zoo. One block from shopping on Lex. A quick cab ride from Grand Central. Perfect spot!

great place for an engagement
my fiance and myself thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the loews regency, the hotel was in great location to the pick up point for the carriage rides in central park where I proposed to my then girlfrend . about 8 blocks away from the hotel is columbus circle where you will find time warner center a great spot for dining and shopping . after returning to the hotel we decided to wander around a bit and explore , after checking out the dining area called the library we bumped into the hotel restaurants manager , a short conversation later he had offered us drinks on the house due to the good news of our engagement . we sat down in the library which has a great atmosphere and is a great setting to socialize over drinks. with our drinks came out of plate of four fresh baked cookies, also on the house that were amazing . every member of the staff that we encountered were very polite and cheerful . Steven the restaurant manager went out of his way to make sure that our special night was even more memorable . the loews regency exudes elegance and class and I would definitely recommend it to anyone .
