- Seppi's
- Filling a void in the midtown dining scene, Seppis offers a charming French bistro atmosphere on West 56th Street. From the dark bar area to the black and white banquettes, Seppis captures an old New York feel with a heaping dash of Parisian charm.

If you like Central Park West, go for it
The hotel was somewhat hard to observe from the outside, as it had some renovating being performed on the facade. The rooms are nothing to write home about but, boy oh boy, you need to try their breakfast, especially waffles and French toast.

Just a-right
The location is great, but the hotel is meh. Clean and spacious room but we got updated to a suite so can't comment on single room size. Staff does not impress with the exception of the young man who checked us in. Pool was small and coldish but the view from up there is unbelievable. Spa should be ashamed to call itself a spa-- think YMCA changing room which happens to have a tiny sauna.

Budget an extra $15 bucks for a visit to the pool (pool area daily charge not included in hotel rate)-- you get access for the day, and they are open until late so you can see the view of the city in the evening.

Good location...the rooms need an upgrade
Want a good location, great restaurants and beautiful lobby...this could be the place for you however, the rooms need a face lift. All depends how picky you are, but for the money we paid, i want a nicer room.

OK
This Hotel was OK. The lobby was very nice--but the room was very basic--I know I was paying for location --but the room could have been nicer. Everything was clean --that was a plus.

Good location to Central park
All in all the hotel was good. Nice room-no view. We were on the 9th floor-double beds, which were excellent!! No view except to office buildings but that was not a big deal./ What we found disconcerting was the one of the Concierge. It was about 3 in the afternoon. I went to the Concierge to ask where we could fnd a nice place to eat. She said, all the places are closed for lunch and will open for dinner. ! Lady...this is New York City !! Needless to say we walked a few blocks and found multiple nice upscale restaurants. I went to another Concierge the next day and he was excellent. Very helpful. I think this first particular Concierge was just an anomaly and probably did not represent the entire Concierge Staff. Other than that, I thought the hotel deserves a very good rating. I would stay there again.

Location is great
The bathroom door squeeked very loudly, only one wash cloth provided although two guest were registered, both the sink and the bath tub drained very slowly, and the thermostat did not work correctly. The room was very clean, but also very small and in my opinion, it was over priced. The location was very good, but I was charged $90.00 to park in the hotel's garage as a registered guest. This was rediculous.

Not what I expected
The Parker Meridien, while in a good location was lacking in a couple of areas. The room was well appointed but small, with the bathroom shower head not caulked properly to the wall.Unacceptable in a hotel of this calibre. The halls were dark and not well lit. We avoided the hotel restaurants but the concierge pointed us to a great breakfast place across the street and some good dinner suggestions. Kudos to the concierges that we dealt with over the course of 4 nights.
