The Latham is a true budget hotel right off 5th Avenue and a brief terrific walk to the Empire State Building-Chelsea and Herald Square. very disappointing

the hotel room was very , very small and i requested a double bed which was confirmed on my confirmation email . I was not given that at all there was one bed and the room was not up to par at all ,the hallway smelled terrible and you had to walk pretty far for the shared batheroom at ,was my first time in new york and it was a terrible nights stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone
