Outstanding Hotel

From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, I loved staying here. All the staff I came across were so helpful and friendly. The hotel is only 2 blocks from Times Square, but far away from the hustle and bustle of Time Square. Also close to Broadway Theaters. The room was quite large and clean, had a great Shower room. I recommend that when checking in ask for a high floor.I would definately stay at this hotel again if ever I go back to New York.

Good location

It is a nice hotel, new, good location. What made us unhappy was the outrageous daily charge for wifi which is free at most other hotels. What will the Hotel Intercontinental charge extra for next? Pillows, soap, towels?

Best NYC hotel experience so far

This was by far the best NYC hotel I've stayed at thus far - and reasonably priced. Great room and excellent views of the city. There are definitely better hotels, but I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Shake Shack - it's on the first floor of the Intercontinental building. One of the best burger joints anywhere. Expect to wait in line, but it's worth it.
