Fresh and clean. Small room but well appointed - everything you need within easy reach. Bathroom was large enough - everything clean and neat. Helpful and friendly staff. Good continental breakfast, internet and even a newspaper in the morning. Very central location.

Long weekend NYC
We had a wonderful three nights stay at this hotel in the hart of Manhattan. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The coffee was good and always available. The rooms were clean and the beds good. The pent house on top of the hotel was a nice place to talk with other travelers and to watch the Empire State Building , especially in the evening! Lots of things to see at walking distance. We recommend this hotel to everybody who wants a good stay in NYC. Paul and Ina

Sightseeing tip:
Long walk from hotel
Take a walk on Broadway to the south. Stop at the little church St Pauls to light a candle for all the people who died on 9-11. Walk on across Battery Park and take the boat to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Than walk back to the hotel. On the way you cross several parks for a stop.

Great Home Base for Exploring NYC
First time staying in NY since 1998 so I was a little nervous at first but turned into an awesome experience. Parking garage right there. Empire State Building around the block, Nice Walk or taxi bike ride to Grand Central/Time Square/Macy's. Small room but did not need anything larger. Breakfast not so great but would not stop me from coming again.

Great Location
I travelled with my adult daughter & had room with twin beds. The room was comfortable & adequate in size. The bathroom was small but not an issue for us. The subway was 1/2 block from hotel which was convenient. Rented bikes online & rode around Central Park & to Museum of Modern Art. It's less expensive to reserve bikes in advance. Visited the Museum of Natural History and ate at Lombardi's in Little Italy. Great pizza. The complimentary breakfast at the hotel was very nice and a great way to save money as meals are expensive. There's a 24 hour deli around the corner which was reasonable. Hotel staff were friendly & a great source of information. The rooftop bar closed at 10 but hotel guests could sit up there anytime. Great view of the Empire State Building. Overall, would recommend this to anyone.

Kudos for Metro. Fantastic Value.
Great service. Anu at the front desk. Kevin and Jason and the bell and Joe at the concierge. The housekeeping department did an outstanding job. It's a great value for money. Perfectly located. Only suggestion is that two 500ml bottles per day should be included in the amenities package. Also housekeeping should pick up laundry from the room.

Using the subway was a first time experience for me but when go to the subway depending upon how long your stay is I would recommend at least purchasing the 10 dollar metro card it saves time and money I was only in NY for abt 2 1/2 days used almost 3 10 dollar metro cards to get around the city quicker also would recomend getting a cab to and from airport quicker and only abt 30 dollars for each trip
