Dining

Metro Grill
The Metro Grill serves lunch and dinner M-F, dinner only S-S. Our bar and cocktail lounge are open until 11:00pm Sun-Thur, and 12:am F-Sat.
Rooftop Bar
The roof terrace is open seasonally for our guests during most daytime hours. During the evenings, weather permitting, a bar that is also open to the public operates and while guests are certainly welcome, they need to make reservations with the restaurant for a table. On rare occasions the roof is booked as a party space and access can be limited or restricted during those periods (usually just a few hours per event).

Great hotel, but a little noisy

Hotel is great, but the walls are a little thin between the rooms. Overall though..... for the price you can't beat it.

Would definitely return

We enjoyed our stay at the Metro Hotel ... central to almost everything, close to subways and within walking distance to great site seeing places. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean with nice bath products ... and the showers were good ... you had a choice of rain shower, traditional shower or massage shower! The breakfast they offered was good for a continental breakfast ... we definitely took advantage every morning. The staff was very helpful and quick to assist at any time.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There were several decent places to eat, but we enjoyed a Korean restaurant within 200 meters towards 6th. Very good ... and very busy.

great birthday treat

l would definately come back to this hotel, everything was great, staff very friendly. location excellent. Would recommend everyone to take the shuttle to airports as we were charged extreme charges when the yellow cab didn't turn up as promised so had to take a black cab charging us 160 dollars and the other couple in the car 180 dollars for a one hour trip so be warned.

Great for your money, super friendly staff

I needed a place last minute to start a new job the next day that was affordable. The location was incredible, two stops from my new job in the flatiron district. The room was small but all I needed. Big shower and comfortable bed. James at the Front Desk is a great man, friendly, fun and caring.

Great for the price

I gave this 5 stars, understanding I mean this is top quality for a 3-star hotel. It's not a 5-star hotel. But it's comfortable, clean, elegant and simple -- a great deal when I stayed there, and I'd definitely go back.
