Hotel Gansevoort - Top Class
Brilliant hotel for a couple. Great location, with lots of restaurants and bars in the area. The rooftop bar in the hotel is a great place to hang out in the evening.

Very Nice Hotel
I thought this hotel was very nice, trendy and in an excellent location. The only negative was that I had specifically requested a King Size bed when I made the reservation and the hotel put me in a Queen. Also, I thought the room service food was below averaged and extremely overpriced. I would stay away from the room service food next time if possible. But, otherwise, everything else about the hotel was excellent.

New Years Eve!
New years eve is always crazy where ever you go and I must say that the Staff at the Gansevoort at both the locations in NYC make it a breeze! We checked in around 6...had to move our dinner reservations back and the hotel was able to do that for us, as soon as we got to our room the front desk called to make sure everything was satisfactory...I love both the locations and will go back to NYC and stay only at these hotels. You get what you pay for in NYC and these hotels offer everyting to their guests!

Great 1st Experience
It was a great first experience for a visit to NYC. I really enjoyed the hotel and the vibe that it presents. It is in the Meatpacking District, and the only downfall, is that it is a good walk away from Times Square and Central Park. I personally enjoyed the walks! It is close to SOHO, Little Italy and Chinatown, which makes it perfect for those looking to shop. The staff was nice and helpful with any questions that we had. The gym is nice, and really liked the spa next to the gym. Overall a great experience!

Great time in NYC
the Gansevoort was a great hotel in a great location. the staff was very pleasant and helpful. while the rooms were very nicely decorated and quite spacious for NYC (without booking a suite) we thought the bathrooms could use an update...we prefer glass shower doors to curtains. thank you to all who made our stay memorable and we will definitely be back!

Fun getaway
Gorgeous hotel, love the Meatpacking District and nearby Chelsea Market. Something about the traffic pattern here filled the night with honking. We were on the 7th floor and it was LOUD! The room was beauitful, sexy and chic and the stay was flawless except for some noise.
