Fabulous Manhattan hotel!
The overnight stay at the hotel was a 21st birthday gift to my daughter, and it was perfect! The girls were thrilled with their accommodations in every way. And, the staff went out of their way to help me with my special requests. Would definitely stay there again! Worth every penny!

Great location to walk and shop
We asked for a room in back, to ensure quiet, as there is a very popular bar on the rooftop..... we never heard a thing. We could walk around the meatpacking district to shop, and easily take cabs elsewhere. The bed and amenities were first class.

Fantastic service, easy luxury
Everyone knows the Gansevoort for its luxury, hip design, and location but I wanted to add a comment on its service. I had booked a one-nighter for my first anniversary and called ahead to add my wife's name so she could check in before I arrived. I mentioned the occasion and asked that if there were any rooms with a view in our price class, that it would be much appreciated. I arrived to find that we had been upgraded to a high floor, two balcony suite overlooking the Hudson and the valley of 9th avenue. Smart marketing indeed because it's a gesture I'll never forget.
