Safe, clean and close to Empire State Building!
This is a very small hotel right on 5th Ave, next to the Empire State Building. Also, it is close to Girl Scouts USA. It was a short walk from our bus stop. The area is very safe and so close to many NYC attractions. The room was small but we were only there to sleep - perfect for me and my teen-age daughter. I'd highly recommend it and will stay there again. The staff was terrific and very helpful. Additionally, it is a great value for NYC.

Short 3 day visit
The location and price make this an easy choice. Yes small rooms, but it's New York. We hadthe pleasure of the Empire State building right out of our window. Great W Cafe across the street and easy to walk everywhere with plenty of options for Subway and such.

Great value in midtown
Had very smooth experience, the room was small and clean and well equipped. Came with bottled water, coffee and wifi, which is pretty much all I needed. For about 100 bucks, it exceeded my expectations, will come again.

Good for a quick overnight
the hotel was nice, checking in was a breeze, the cable was a little tweaky at first but bathroom was nice the room was small but was at a great rate, located close to some great irish bars, checking out though was different the hotel staff when i went to the front desk just had a negative attitude and looked at me like i had a sign on that said i was an idiot, other than that it was great, and there is a starbucks right in the lobby

Week long stay
This was poor value for the price. The room is very small, there is little space to hang your clothes, you can barely move in the room when your suitcase is there, and the bathroom is very tiny. The only amenity is free wifi. It is next door to Starbucks. If the price were $50 less per night it would be a better value. I don't recommend staying there more than a couple of nights. It is just too small.

A simple place to rest your head.
The hotel is in a perfect location to facilitate a weekend getaway to see the sights, catch a show, or shop in New York. The hotel's staff and general room cleanliness are excellent. The hotel does not live up to its "chic boutique" appeal as promised by the website because low water pressure, poor access to the window hampered by an in-window air conditioner, and the poor ability to govern the room's temperature make for less than optimal room comfort. These issues also make the price seem high for the hotel's offering. Bottom line: The room is great if you are planning to spend all of your visit outside of the hotel.

Small, but clean and comfortable
This hotel was in a good location for us. We like to walk all over and spend as much time in soho/ the village as in midtown, so we didn't mind being a little out of the Times Square area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. Free Wi Fi was a plus, beds were very comfortable. No complaints.

A good place to stay
Very convenient location on fifth avenue. The entry seems to be a little hard to find since we missed it the first time. The room is clean and comfortable.
