Holiday Inn Express NEW YORK CITY FIFTh
I liked everything BUT, I feel room service ladies need to be in touch with reality and while it is their job to fix the rooms and have them ready, they kept knocking on our door. I finally went out and gave her a piece of my mind. I had called front dest and told them about not having a do not disturb board and that I was desperately fighting a migraine. I needed to sleep the medicine for 2 hours. It was only 8am! Finally the lady left us alone. Almost 10am! That is my big complaint. Other than that, everything was great.

Enjoyed staying in the heart of New York. Internet was good, the breakfast was excellent, room was a little small, but it was clean and warm. Reception was very helpful and pleasant.

Real good value!!!

Very well kept
It was enjoyable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were small but I only used it for sleeping. Recommended for people who plan to do a lot of site seeing and use the room for just sleeping.

Short walk from hotel
It was great to just walk to the different surrounding sites including the Empire State Building and different broadway shows. You also have the hustle and bustle of 42nd Street by the movies. Loved it all.

Great location for a family visit.
Great location for a family to stay while visiting the city during the holidays. Two blocks from Rockerfeller Center and two blocks from Toys R Us in Times Square. Free continental breakfast was beyiond expectations. Only drawback was that the room was tight. Good if you're just sleeping there, but I wouldn't spend more than an hour in the room with the kids up.

Excellent stay
The staff went out of their way to provide after hour milk for our little girl. We loved the place and will definately stay there again,. The price was right, the bathroom was great, large shower, but no bathtub, so baby bathed in the sink. Good Overall

Location, Location, Location
This hotel is in a great location for people visiting NYC to see the sights. My boyfriend and I arrived at Penn Station and it was about a 15 min. walk to the hotel. Prior to arriving, I had called the hotel to inquire about luggage storage rooms and early check in. Over the phone, the hotel front desk was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived we checked in quickly and once again experienced friendly service. We had requested and received a non-smoking room with a king size bed. The room was small, but it's New York and for the price it is unbeatable. Although the rooms are small, they are nice and clean and the beds are very comfortable. We were not in our room that often, so it wasn't a problem. Overall, I choose hotels based on location and was not disappointed. From the hotel, it is a 5 min. walk to Times Square and Rockerfeller Center. It is about a 15 min. walk to Central Park. I am not a pretentious traveler and this hotel was perfect for us.

Awesome deal, excellent customer service
Only there for a night, but it has made me want to stay at holiday inn expresses around the world. Excellent central location, but not too congested with tourist activity. Complimentary breakfast and toiletries (combs and shaving supplies) enhanced our stay. Appreciate the secure luggage storage after checkout.
