Midtown Manhattan hotel with big rooms near Central Park, Times Square

Best Bet in NYC
This is centrally located and always wonderful. Nice rooms that have been updated since my last stay about a year ago. Usually let you check in early and check out late if available.

This is a very large hotel with all the amenities one would want. Breakfast($30 buffet), parking($50 a day) and room service($20 small pizza) are at New York prices. Initially did not give me credit for prepayment; so be careful not to be charged twice. Friendly correction when I went to front desk.

Location, location, location!
The Hilton is great! Staff is friendly. Everything is close by-attractions, food, public transportation...awesome location. We will stay there again if possible. Drawback - bathroom could use some renovation.

Try the gyros right outside of hotel. Very, very good. Skip the hotdog stand.

Uncomfortable Bed
This hotel is upscale and busy and I was excited to be staying there. That is until I tried sleeping in the rather smallish double bed. The problem was not so much the size of the bed but rather that the bed was concave from excessive wear. The pillows were also not up to what Hilton standards should be. I was unable to sleep and unhappy with my stay.

Best hotel experienve in NYC
Nice hotel with fare rates, what should be normal, but it's difficult to find in Manhattan :) That's the one I'll use for my business trips in the furute.

Amazing time for new years
Me and my friend had a great room with 2 beds and a pretty good view for the price and location on new years weekend it was a steal

Good experience living at this hotel with close proximity to Times Square for new year ball drop and to broadway shows.

Great Time, Great Location
Hotel Staff very friendly, and hospitable, just a little slow at times. Hotel very clean, wonderful location, great security. Overall a wonderful stay

A lot of pricey restaurants in area (some you would never expect to be). If going with family, look for little pizza joints (spread out on streets between 5th and 6th ave), and a place called Park Cafe located on 6th Ave., and 56th Street. For a little more money, the best steak I've ever had can be found at Sarabeth's on 40 Central Park South....they have children's portions just ask ( 2 smaller children can share the meals; good portions). Have fun!!

Perfect getaway
I went with my daughter and had a great time.The location was really good and near 5th ave and not too far from time square or broadway.The stafff were very good and helpful.Also food was good and food available till 1pm if you missed a meal.Would stay at the Hilton next time.
