Historic hotel on Midtown’s east side near United Nations
This historic, neo-gothic building offers stylish comfort in Midtown Manhattan's east side. In-room touches such as large LCD TVs, marble bathrooms and soft, down duvets and pillows pamper guests. Great Spot
Hilton Manhattan East is situated on 42nd Street which is the same street as Times Square, albeit 5 avenues cross town, but this is not a huge distance and can easily be walked in 5 to 10 mins. This makes it an ideal location as you are not paying the high costs of a Times Square hotel and are avoiding the noise and crowds of 7th Avenue, but are a very short walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful and there was free wifi in the lobby, which was good as the desktop PC's in the lobby where a little expensive and slow. The rooms are well presented an clean with a good TV and choice of channels. All in all, if the price is right for you, go for it!

The R lounge in time square is a great place to take a break after a long walk.

Solid NYC Hotel
The hilton midtown east was a perfectly nice hotel. Great staff that were always helpful. Close to grand central. The rooms are standard hilton hotel rooms but those are pretty nice compared to many hotels in NYC. Good value for the money.

Close Enough
Clean udated rooms, small. Staff friendly, very helpful. Met all our needs and expectations. The hotel is close enough to all major attractions, yet off the path.
