Comfortable Weekend Getaway
It was a very pleasant experience! The room was pretty small, but it had everything that two people need for a few days. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Bathroom was nice but the water temperature was sometimes wonky. All in all it was a very nice place and a good location!

Comfortable, good location
The staff were very helpful. Upgraded our room without our asking or expecting. Very clean and quiet. Only drawback was they did not have refrigerators. We adjusted easily. Would definitely go back there.

Weekend Getaway mom/daughter
This hotel was in the perfect location and has easy access to subway. Nice area, and centrally located. Bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and room clean. It was just perfect for us and price was right, because most of time is spent sight seeing and not in room, but all was very nice, and I would stay here again and recommend it to others!!!

Wonderful Stay!
My husband and I were only spending 2 days and 2 nights in New York City, since we visit at least once a year. Herald Square Hotel was exactly what we needed: affordable, perfectly located close to everything we wanted to see, clean, comfortable, and QUIET!! When we checked-in, they upgraded us to a delux room. Since this was our first stay here, we can't tell you what a standard room looks like, but the delux room was spacious, looked like it was newly upgraded, with hard wood floors, cedar closets, and a very, very comfortable bed. The one thing we didn't like was the shower didn't have great water pressure, but we didn't complain as everything else was PERFECT!

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Right next door to the hotel is a charming and chic "wine and chocolate bar". We popped in the night before we left for drinks and dessert. It was packed with New York's young professionals, probably having a late dinner/drinks before hitting the clubs. The wine selection was awesome as well as the desserts. The name escapes me at the moment, but you can't miss it- it's right next door.

Romantic wife
nice night away
Decided to take a nice night away from the home to celebrate my husbands birthday. I wanted to take him to a nice dinner in times square a have a romantic evening away from the home. The herald square hotel was a perfect place for this. The staff was nice and helpful, the rooms were not too big but they were comfortable, would have been better if they had a bigger bathroom but overall I was extremely satisfied and would recomend this hotel for anyone that just wants to have a night away for a reasonable price.

NOT GREAT
THE ROOM WAS VERY SMALL. NO PLUGS IN BATHROOM NO SHAMPOO NO KLEENEX. NO HEAT CONTROLL THANK GOD WE WERE ONLY THERE FOR 1 NIGHT. WE STAYED HERE BECAUSE OF THE CLOSENESS TO THE MADISON SQUARE GARDENS AND SHOPPING.
