Fun place to stay

Checked in on a Saturday afternoon for my girlfriends birthday. Went to the top floor sun deck and pool and it was already crowded. A dj good bar and great view made it a fun drink filled weekend. Not to mention if you stay there there's no wait to get into the club at night. Overall it was a good value.

summer in the city

Our stay was excellent overall. Our room was not ready at check in time, but Juan at the front desk compensated for the delay by giving us a free breakfast in the hotel's Asselina restaurant. Kudos to him! We have stayed at the Gansevoort Park previously, and will do so again.

Summer break.

With the exception of loud party scene by the pool we love this hotel. Staff and service are Very efficient and friendly. Always a welcome back upon returning to the hotel. Location is excellent a few steps from the metro and a short walk to Union Square area. Rooms are quite large with king bed a couch and large coffee table. We will return again next visit to NYC.

great location and accomodations

The room was large by NYC standards and well appointed. We appreciated having a separate coat closet since there was a downpour our first night. The rooftop pool really sets this hotel apart from others where we have stayed in Manhattan.

Fantastic Hotel

Stayed for a week sight seeing in New York with family. Had connecting rooms in this fantastic hotel, great from the moment you check in in the wonderful lobby, really friendly genuinely helpful staff who were only too happy to call the lift for you or open the door to welcome you in. Rooms spacious and clean, roof top bar and pool with great views of The Empire State - see pic. Brilliant location, subway station literally just round the corner and more options, including Grand Central Station 5 minutes walk away. We walked to most of the attractions, Empire State, Rockefeller, 5th Avenue, Times Square, Central Park, Macy's etc and if you didn't fancy walking back it is so easy to hop on the metro. Good amenities just outside the front door, Starbucks, Bread and Butter and Go Fresh all good breakfast options to set you up for the day. We had rooms on the middle floors and heard no noise at all apart from some early morning bin collections. Could not recommend the hotel enough.

A hotel with a good attitude

I liked the hotel , well appointed spacious room Comfortable bed , usual subdued lighting annoying Cleaning service and general service good . Modern furniture , the let down was the breakfast which was poor , cheap cut loaf brad , one pat of butter frozen no marmalade , service sloppy , yoghurt dish fine , needs looking into by management , one group I believe . Room prices good value for NYC .
