This hotel is so nice !

I came here for my birthday night! I loved the location because I went to dinner at the Sugar Factory which was a block away. The room was a nice size and beautiful. It was very comfortable and the stuff was really nice. Unfortunately I was not able to check out the rooftop pool because It was raining but in the future I would love to come back and check it out.

Awesome

This was a great hotel with an awesome room. The only thing I can say in the least bit bad was there were a number of items in the room that they were trying to sell. Besides that, it was incredible. Remember your bathing suit for the roof top pool

Gansevoort Maetpacking

Got a great rate from this site, had to extend to my stay and thankfully got moved to a higher floor last 2 nights. For me 4th floor was really loud for street traffic (people and cars). All in all a good stay, restaurant was a little disappointing for dinner though but so many awesome restaurants nearby.

Amazing weekend!

This hotel was perfect! Trendy, modern and fun! The rooftop club was awesome! I am planning on returning in the summer. The staff was so helpful and kind. I only ordered room service from the Chester, but it was delicious. Beautiful. Not too crazy. Just perfect.

location location location

if you want to be in the heart of the real new york action, it's hard to beat this meatpacking hotel. I'd recommend for anyone who wants to be able to walk to the west village/soho/little italy and have the ability to stand some late night noise from the party that's going on around them. We were there for a night away from home (we also live in NYC). A one mile stroll took us to our great dinner and then a cab to the theater and a subway back to the hotel. All in all it was a great night.

Romantic Getaway for Two

Room was small but filled with the perfect amenities including a bluetooth antique-styled stereo which sounded great, tons of goodies and guides, and a very responsive staff. Room service was awesome and sourced directly from The Chester, the restaurant downstairs. Elevators quick, staff helpful and friendly, and location great. Local friends remarked on the quality of the hotel, and recognized it for its rooftop bar/lounge. Would stay again.

Great hip hotel

Everything about this hotel was great, exactly as advertised. The only reason I'd give it slightly less than 5 stars is that the room itself was fairly small and simple for this price range. Other than that - neighborhood, staff, rooftop pool, lounge, lobby bar all top notch.
