Flatotel at Times Square

The location of the hotel was great and as promised it was a modern looking hotel. However, we had to requests washcloths two days in a row - they were not provided with the clean towels. A coffee maker was requested and on the second request we received it. However, there was no basket with the coffee pot so we had to request that so we could make coffee. There were no ice machines available at all - we were told we had to request it and then an ice bucket filled with ice would be provided. The most surprising thing was that there was no alarm clock in the room. We did call the Desk for a wake up call, but it would have been convenient to have a clock in the room.

From the moment we arrived until our departure the staff couldn't have been nicer.We arrived early Thanksgiving Day) and although our room wasn't ready we were able to check our bags which allowed us to go off to the parade luggage free. We were told to call to see if our rooms we ready but we decided to walk back and check around 1 PM and the rooms were ready although check-in wasn't till 4, we were allowed to check in. The rooms , by NYC standards was large and very clean and comfy.I did my usual bed bug inspection and found both rooms bug free ( huge thing for me). Location was perfect with just a very short walk to Times Square and all other attractions.Would definetly recommend and would stay there again without hesitation.

Welcoming from the start. Courteous and Friendly staff got us to pour room quickly so we could drop off our bags, freshen up and hit the Big Apple.

Staff was very cordial and attentive. The location is perfect walking distance to many attractions. The rooms are huge for NYC!!

Excellent location in midtown manhattan. Rooms are decent sized for the location, we stayed in a king room. Bathrooms are great and very big. Friendly staff. TV's and carpeting need replaced or updated. And the in hotel restaurant , moda, is a miss. This is my second stay here, and both were very pleasant.

Rooms VERY small, no dresser, television did not work until I called twice for assistance. Room was miniscual and with no view...I expected much more for the price I paid and will not stay here again.An order of toast and an English muffin, one cup of poor coffee and a small glass of orange juice cost $28.00!! C'mon! And that was in the restaurant, not room service!

I took some friends on a tour of the city, took in a few shows and did a LOT of shopping. The ONLY issue that I had with our entire stay was that the toilet wouldn't always flush...which got embarassing...and the shower wouldn't drain. After we called the front desk, someone came up and fixed it right away. The beds were VERY comfortable,and there is a great little deli right across the street!

the location was very very good. the room was pretty clean and the furniture is modern and up to date. the elevators are really slow though and the security guard was not always there to check ppl's card, so it might not be as safe. but most of the staff was very nice and accomodating. for the price paid, the hotel was a really great deal.

location is really awesome, close to most everything. My key card did not work every time I came back each night - had to either go back down and ask for a replacement which was a big hassle. Our room was not ready until 4pm, and the hotel actually required US to check every hour to see if our room was ready or not - it wouldve been a better service if they were to call us to let us know so at least that way, we couldve gone exploring until then.

Location was great! Staff was nice and very helpful with information. Only negative was that the air conditioning unit was not cooling, at all.
