Flatotel at Times Square

Better than days inn, Cannot be compared to 4star hotels i've been. The hallway looks like one of the motel's. old building, yet great location for people don't need fancy hotel for good price.

The service was very good. We had to ask for a few things and we found them attentive. We had two different rooms and the deluxe double was just fine. Good place to stay if you want to be near broadway and/or the Macy's Day parade. Plenty of good restaurants and shopping near by. We were worried about waits with the elevators based on reviews on line; however, we had no such problems. The maids were very good and the rooms were clean but couches and chairs were not comfortable (biggest complaint).

1.- They announce 24 hours room service. The restaurant is closed. 2.- Have 2 elevators for 1-7 floor, 2 elevators for 8-46 floor plus one service elevator. The 8 days that I was there the service elevator was out of order and four days one elevator was broken. My room was in floor 45 and the first day I took moore than 20 min to go from 45 floor to the Loby. 3.-The Venetian blinds and the sofa were broken. IN BRIEF , IT WAS AWFUL

A very trendy place but it's not in your face about it. Exceptionally clean space. Wonderfully large bathroom, which was fantastic for two girls who love their hot showers and soaking baths. Bed was firmer than my personal preference, but hotels usually are. My one quibble is the elevators should be bigger and perhaps a third one for the people staying at the hotel - they got a bit clogged up in the mornings. Good location, in the middle of 2 busy avenues but the street itself wasn't crazy. I would stay here again.

We were upgraded to a suite! Didn't expect it, but WOW!! Opened the door Sat. morning and there was a paper waiting outside. Went down stairs. Complimentary breakfast was included! -- and the coffee was good. Bagel, juice, etc. Great location. Could not hear any noice from the street. Fantastic place to stay -- could walk to see shows, go out to dinner, etc. We were up there to go "college shopping" -- and did some other shopping too! We will stay there again.

The hotel was in such a great location. It was a short walk to the theaters, Time Square and Rockefeller Center among other must see locations. Our room was clean, but the mattress was very hard and the secondary lock on the door was broke and no hair dryer in the room (what is up with that). The lobby is a cocktail lounge with the reception desk in the corner...great ambience at night. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful. The second shift porters and front door staff were rude, but day shift was great. Recommend if you are like us and only need to sleep because you are out in the city most of the time and don't need a ton of hotel amenities.

Not sure if we were the lucky beneficiaries of an overbooked hotel or not, but after having everyone tell me how small NYC hotel rooms all are, we arrived to find ours was a huge suite with a 2 baths and a corner bedroom! Fabulous. Only criticisms were the non-working elevators on the first day creating a 20 minute log jam to get from our 40th floor room to the lobby. Continental breakfast is adequate, not spectacular. Staff was great and we were just a few blocks from absolutely everything, save for Statue. We walked everywhere and felt perfectly safe at all times.

The service was good, they open the front door at you,they concern about how you feel.Was clean place, we really enjoy it.

Room was larger than I expected. There was no air conditioning working in the room. The fan in the bathroom did not work...things were a little too warm. Had those two things been resolved, I would have been very comfortable with my stay.
