Great Manhatten location. Near theaters and Times Square.
The staff at the Flatotel was very helpful and courteous. Provided assistance when the airlines lost our luggage. The location is excellent. Walking distance to most theaters, Times Square, Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center. Many good restaurant choices in the area.

There are several terrific delis in the area. The serving size is huge so splitting a sandwich is the best plan.

A great place
We got a fantastic hotel especially in NYC in that particular location. We were in a one bedroom suite. We very comfortably fit our family in it and with teenagers who are adult sized, it made for a most enjoyable stay. Two bathrooms, a kitchen and a huge living room. The key part was size and location. I will absolutely return to that hotel again. We go to NYC fairly regularly and our daughter is looking at colleges there so we look forward to returning.

Nice accomadations
The hotel was very well located and the room very nice for the price. Only negatives: Non-working Jacuzzi tub very hard to climb in and out of (has a very high, wide ledge)and also the mattress is on a platform and wasn't the most back friendly. The staff was very helpful and we would definitely stay here again. The restaurant in the hotel was pricey, so we did not eat there.

Great Location
The FLATOTEL had a nice room and bigger than most from what I've heard about typical NYC hotel rooms. The staff were VERY accomodating and very helpful with directions and dining suggestions. The location was in walking distance from Times Square (6 blocks?), Rockefeller Center and The Late Show at the Ed Sullivan Theater as well as Broadway shows, shopping and restaurants.

Very Comfortable Room/Suite
We were very pleased with the wonderful view and the exceptionally large suite. I was amazed that we had a bath and a half. Great counter space in the bathroom. Location was convenient to the Broadway shows and Times Square.

A great get away weekend
My experience at the Flatotel was a very positive one. It's location was just a few blocks from the theaters and several great restaurants. The staff was courteous and most helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I would certainly stay at this hotel again and recommend it when staying in NYC.

Extra ordinary Staff
We arrived at the Hotel at 11:00am with check in only at 4PM. The receptionist not only upgraded our room but allowed us to check in early. We were given a room witha panoramic view down 6th avenue.Every staff we talked to were friendly and extremely polite making sure we were very confortable. We would definitely return to this hotel.

My review of FLATOTEL
Once again the Flatotel has met our expectations. The rooms are larger than most in NYC and very comfortable. Bathroom is large with great mirrors and vanity area. Staff were very welcoming and always ready to help. Only negative was that the air conditioning in our room did not seem to be working. Location convenient to restaurants, shopping and local sites. Would definitely recommend!
