Flatotel at Times Square

Very Clean and Great Service Hotel at wlaking distance from amenenities. All activities very well taken care of

The best thing about the Flatotel was its location. It was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay. We walked to all the places we wanted to visit: Times Square, Central Park, Lincoln Center, 5th Avenue, etc. The room was not just a room, but a complete "flat" with full kitchen, dining area, bedroom,living room, and 2 bathrooms. We actually reheated a meal for lunch from a previous dinner! It was clean, staff was courteous, and it had a nice bar. We even got our car rental just a few doors down! It wasn't fancy, but it was clean and I'd stay there again.

We chose this hotel for the location - almost dead center between Times Square and Central Park. Also, just three blocks from Rockefeller Plaza. We were very surprised at the size of the room. Very spacious, with a large bathroom. At first, we thought we were given the wrong room since the space was so much larger than we had expected. The only real drawback is that the elevators suck. It was not uncommon to wait 5 minutes or more for an elevator. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The room was a good size and the housekeeping was excellent. The complimentary continental breakfast could of been much better, but it was free. I really enjoyed my stay and I will recommend the hotel to anybody. The only problem was the elevator was slow at times.

The hotel sits conveniently near a subway 2 blocks away & Times Square is such a close walk! Great coffee shop across the street & 5th Ave. Is a short 2 blocks te opposite direction. Fantastic restaurants & the bed was extremely comfortable. The concierge met my special requests & I'll definitely book Flatotel again!

I tried to check in upon arrival to the city, but no room was ready at 10:30am. I didn't get to check in until close to 11pm and was upgraded to a suite with 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and living room. It was really lovely.

Not sure if we were the lucky beneficiaries of an overbooked hotel or not, but after having everyone tell me how small NYC hotel rooms all are, we arrived to find ours was a huge suite with a 2 baths and a corner bedroom! Fabulous. Only criticisms were the non-working elevators on the first day creating a 20 minute log jam to get from our 40th floor room to the lobby. Continental breakfast is adequate, not spectacular. Staff was great and we were just a few blocks from absolutely everything, save for Statue. We walked everywhere and felt perfectly safe at all times.

In the city for several days for vacation. Hotel location was perfect - merely block(s) away from everything, including food, tourist spots, and subway. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I was initially given a smoking room, but upon request they moved me to a non-smoking room for the duration of my stay. Very pleased, would stay here again in a heartbeat. The lobby is fantastic. The hallways leave a little to be desired (older looking carpet, walls/doors could use a paint job), but the actual rooms and bathrooms are great.

was very accomodating mattress on sofa bed was not comfortable.

Location was excellent, close to theatre district. Given by mistake a smoking room, then was changed to room with problem with air conditioning. Front end supervisor finally got us a nice room. Lobby nothing to write home about. Front End Superviser very helpful.
