Excellent location, worth the price
We took a rest, slept while we were in the hotel. Washbowl drainage was found to be clogged that made a bad impression. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. Bathrobes were missing.

Spacious room, nice staff, but...
Friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms with high ceilings, and complementary Internet access made this a pleasant stay for us. The hotel has an interesting history a nice motif, and lots of good ideas, but falls short on the details, though most of the details didn't affect us much. The bathroom was large, but the marble bathroom floor was dangerously slippery, both when dry and wet. The phones didn't work (had cell), the smoke alarm was chirping (they removed it), the iron didn't work, knobs on furniture were loose, only one bar of soap (we could deal), only two pillows (they provided more on request), one towel hanger missing.

Will go back
My family enjoyed this hotel very much. Close to everything and quiet at the same time. The rooms were great, and great service as well. The restaurant is a litlle pricy, but very good.

Very family friendly
The Dylan was quiet and clean. They upgraded us to a suite an no additional cost. We were close enough to walk to Times Square and all the stores we wanted to visit. We walked to the Grayline bus stops. The library and park are a couple of blocks away. Grand Central Station is about 2 blocks away. It was very convienent to eating establishments. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
