Family function
We enjoyed our stay at Club Quarters World Trade Center. There are nice restaurants in the area and it's easy to get on the subway or grab a cab to wherever you need to go. During the day, there were many tourists outside of the hotel touring the World Trade Center site. You could get a great view from the sundeck of the progress.

5 stars all the way
this was the best hotel we have stayed in in nyc. it was a pleasure with coffee/cappicino/ latte free 24/7. also they had free purified iced water and bottles on every floor 24/7. We needed extra towels and the "closet" was open for our use 24/7, without having to wait for service. the halls are wonderful and very uniquely planned out. it was wonderful. the hotel was directly across the street from the 9/11 memorial and a few blocks from trinity church, the american stock exchange and the ny stock exchange. there were plenty of restaurants and shops within very close walking distance as well as beautiful battery park. we could not have asked for a better place to stay in that area. it was heaven.

Short walk from hotel
cross the street and you are there at the 9/11 memorial and a short walk to the battery park boardwalk....what a view. if you go to the memorial be sure to get free tickets ahead of time on the internet. it will save you a few minutes during your visit. you can however go without tickets and obtain them there.

Great value hotel in a great location
I stayed at the Club Quarters World Trade Centre hotel for 7 nights with my partner. Having previously stayed near Times Square, I was a bit worried that we would find it far from the key attractions. However, the transport links were excellent, with many of the main metro lines within 5 mins walk and linking you easily to most of the upper districts.

If you want to see the 9/11 memorial, which is right next to the hotel, try asking at the entry gate an hour before they close as we were able to get some tickets without having to queue or pre-book.

Clean, New Hotel Overlooking Ground Zero
We are frequent travelers who stayed here over Easter weekend and generally liked this hotel but didn't think it was anything special for vacationers. The pros: 1) Friendly staff 2) Perfect location for downtown business travelers or WTC site see-ers. 3) Modern, clean, and environmentally friendly 4) Quiet at night (except for other guests' doors) 5) Unique location literally overlooking the World Trade Center reconstruction site (although as someone who was there on 9/11, we found this a bit unsettling) 6) Free, fast wifi 7) Super comfy bed 8) Late night room service and a good variety of local delivery available 9) Within walking distance of Wall St, Battery Park (with views of the Statue of Liberty), Brooklyn Bridge and City Hall. Pretty far from most other NYC touristy destinations though. 10) Killer deals on tons of clothing at nearby Century 21...if you can handle the insane crowds And now the cons: 1) Low water pressure (part of being LEED certified, we suppose) 2) Difficult to reach by car (two different cabs insisted on dropping us off more than 3 blocks away) 3) Elevators were slow and one broke down 4) Breakfast buffet was overpriced but fresh 5) No mini bar or fridge in the room

A few days in NYC
First of all, I was able to check in early, which was nice since I had a long morning of traveling. The staff was incredibly nice, and with the swipe of my card I was ready to go to my room! I really could not believe how fast, easy, and nice the whole process was. The room was great-everything looked (and I believe) is fairly new. I stayed in a standard room, with a queen bed-a bit smaller-than-average sized hotel room, but it is to be expected in NYC. There was a flat screen TV, convenient desk area, chair, mini-fridge, small closet, and my favorite part-an iHome so that I could listen to music on my iPhone. The bathroom had a shower, granite counter top with a good amount of space, and an eco-friendly toilet. Everything was VERY CLEAN. The bed linens were not "luxury" and the bed was averagely comfortable, but for the price it was reasonable. The only negative is that on the first night, although I was on the 18th floor, there was very loud drilling at 1:00 AM at the World Trade Center site. Thankfully, it only lasted about 30 minutes, but still annoying to be awoken in the middle of the night with this; also about all times of the day there is a loud horn that goes off at the site, I believe it is something for the construction workers to alert that drilling will begin-also can be annoying, although not as loud as the drilling. I either got used to it, or was so tired from my daytime NYC adventures, because I didn't really notice it after the first day. Some other perks of the hotel are the free bottled water-saved some $$ here, I would just grab one on my way out for the day. They have machines on every floor, including the lobby, and empty bottles that you fill up yourself. The coffee maker in the lobby has good cappuccinos! There is also free internet, computer and printing use-definitely took advantage of this! Also, since they are eco-friendly, for every night that you choose not to get your room cleaned, you get a $5 credit toward the hotel restaurant on the top floor. They can be combined, so I used all of mine on the last day. The view from there is amazing! Although the food is a bit expensive, it is tasty, and the coupon helped. I had a panini and soup, which were both delicious, and the service was also great; very nice staff throughout the hotel-I also had dealings with the luggage keeper, and maintenance worker-very friendly. It is definitely a younger staff-but have great customer service skills. The location is not in the heart of the action, but it is very close to subway stations. I would say definitely see the World Trade Center memorial (you can get tickets at the front desk); I also walked to seaport and the Brooklyn bridge-you MUST walk the bridge! Absolutely breathtaking. Also close to Wall Street, and boats that go near the Statue of Liberty.

Blue Planet Grill restaurant is close by, apparently some of the drinks were featured on Food Network. A bit pricey, but the food and drinks were good.

Good value
Newish hotel is clean and reasonably comfortable. The conservation effort goes a bit too far; oddly, there are no bath towels. Being right on huge former WTC construction site means relatively little convenience shopping. Courteous staff. Good price for the quality.

Excellent location and the best view in town of the world trade center memorial. The terrace on the 20th floor had some breathtaking views. It's a given that we'll be making reservations at the Club Quarters for our next trip to NYC!
