This hotel is very accessible to the subway, bus lines and shuttle service. There are many reasonable restaurants within blocks. The staff is most accommodating and there is
a continental breakfast and newspaper. The rooms are small, but well
appointed for one or two people. The Empire State Bldg.is a few blocks away. We will return.
The rooms were small, but clean. The shower made a lil noise when you had the water running for too long. The staff was very helpful. The free breakfast, was definitely not breakfast. They serve juice and muffins-no eggs, sausage,no waffles,no
buscuits. Its a hotel if you are only there for a few days and do not want a nice elegant hotel. They only offer a queen or double beds. I had a double bed and I could barely move in the room.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Its not an expensive hotel if you are only staying ther fore two days.Anything longer pick another hotel.
Park Ave South allows easy walking or public transportation access to any point in the city - or even to points outside of the city! The hotel provides a leisurely, free, self-serve breakfast in a pleasant breakfast room with large TV, and a very
comfortable sitting area with free newspapers, current magazines, and internet access in the lobby. Room accommodations are basic and clean, although a bit small. All in all, a perfect base for getting out and touring the city.
Easy check-in/check-out service especially if prepaid through [...]. I didn't feel nickled and dimed for every amenity or expense associated with accommodation fees (i.e. incidental holds on credit cards)
