great location - small rooms
The location is good (in Midtown). the subway is close enough. The rooms are very small but have all you need. The closets are way too small and do not reach to the floor, i.e. you can not unfold your suite. I mentioned this to the manager, who reacted super: he assured me that they will change it. The price is expansive but not for midtown New York. All staff is knowledgeable, available 24/7 and super.

Was a nice clean hotel, but not good for business travel.
The hotel was nice and room looked like it had been recently renovated. had a modern feel and comfortable bed. Closet was small with little to no drawer space to put your clothes and things. There was a small desk for working. If you travel on business or have to iron anything, good luck. They had a mini desktop ironing board that barely fit on top of the desk. That was a big pain and most of the local TV stations didn't work on the TV in the room. It would be good for a casual weekend for a couple, but i wouldn't stay there again when traveling on business.

cozy party of two
the room was clean, staff nice, but there was a lot of construction. and the heater was very very loud when it was on. and for the price, I had hoped for a little better, say a coffee maker, and not o much drilling at strange hours. but we were happy to be in the location of our stay.

Great value
This hotel would certainly top the list when there are discounted rates available. Everything I expected from the hotel was up to standard and at a discounted rate (150/night avg), you really can't expect much more. Important to note that internet comes at a 10 dollar fee per day and there was one instance where the maid on a particular day was quite pushy about servicing our room even though we were still getting ready. After we mentioned for her to come back at a certain time (she acknowledged), she knocked on the door 20 minutes early and insisted she clean the room now as she was working the floor. We let her in while we were still getting ready as we didn't want to be remembered for being difficult, but it was quite impolite of her to barge in like she did.

Time-saving tip:
Not Applicable
Taxi's are relatively cheap for people travelling in pairs to most areas in the city. If you are willing to spend the extra 2-4 dollars to take a taxi it saves a lot of time for those who have a lot to do/see and do not wish to rush.

Great way to visit NYC
The front desk people were very nice. The room was a nice size, very clean and comfortable. It was very quiet considering the location a couple of blocks from Times Square.

Nice Stay
From the moment we pulled up from the airport, we had a great experience with the hotel. From the bellhop and doorman helping us with our bags into the lobby to the front desk staff checking us in and offering us a free upgrade. Everyone was so friendly and warm, they made you feel very comfortable. Each and every staff member had a friendly and inviting smile on their face. The rooms where little on the small side but roomy enough for our needs. The room had everything we wanted/needed from the in room features (big screen TV, ipod docking station/clock/radio, etc.) to the bath amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable – I don’t think they wanted you to leave The hotel is centrally located just a few blocks from Times Square. Easy access to most NYC sites as well as public transportation if needed. There are tons of restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, etc. within seconds of the hotel if required. We were very happy and satisfied with our stay. There is nothing worse than walking around all day site seeing and coming back to a bad hotel. Luckily we had just the opposite.

Perfect for a couple's retreat!
The hotel is steps away from Times Square and other attractions. The rooms are small, but very cosy and comfortable. The staff goes out of their way to help you with everything from restaurant recommendations to directions. I'd say the only drawback was that they don't have free computer access for guests. The business lounge costs $15/5 min. Other hotels we've been to (e.g., Mayfair) have a couple of computers in the lounge for guests to check email and look up attractions. Something like this would definitely make the hotel even more tourist-friendly. In any case, we'll be back!

GREAT EXPERIENCE
WE WERE CELEBRATING MY FIANCE'S BIRTHDAY AND WENT OUT TO DINNER IN THE THEATER DISTRICT AND OUT FOR DRINKS IN THE LOWER EAST SIDE. THE ROOMS ARE VERY MODERN, THE BED COMFORTABLE, AND THE SHOWER HEAVENLY. THE LOCATION CAN'T BE BEAT- YOU CAN STAY MIDTOWN FOR A SHOW OR EASILY HEAD UPTOWN OR DOWNTOWN. I WISH THEY HAD BREAKFAST INCLUDED FOR LAZY PEOPLE LIKE ME, BUT LUCKILY STARBUCKS IN RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. WE BOOKED A ROOM WITH ONLY A FULL SIZE BED BUT WERE ABLE TO UPGRADE FREE WHEN WE CHECKED IN.
