Christmas in NYC
Nice people. Liked the location-it was out of the main stream but close enough to get where we needed to go. We were sleeping four and the sofa bed was much to be desired. Main lobby wasn't decked out for Christmas and that was the purpose of our trip to see NYC dressed for Christmas! Not a bad place.

Great location, great price
When we booked our flights and hotel together, we were able to get a discount on this hotel, so we were ecstatic. The pictures on the website looked extraordinary and the price was phenomenal. We were slightly disappointed with what we found when we got there, however. The room felt a little dirty and outdated, but the convenience of being walking distance to Times Square without paying Times Square price was worth it for us! The hotel could use a little update on some other amenities, as well. For example, you had to call to get ice delivered to your room in a small bucket, whereas I would have preferred a machine accessible on some floor. Regardless, we had a good stay. Thanks!

NYC was fabulous!!!!
I went to NYC with 3 other people for my birthday and had a fabulous time. BK is walking distance to Times sq and 6 blocks from tthe subway. There is a convienence store across the street and a grocery store with a buffet a block away. The room was great studio suite w/sofa bed it held 4 people nicely. We shopped all day and partied alnight. We were only in the room to sleep. The hotel had not turned their heat on yet and I was cold. They provided me with blankets and a heater. The staff was super friendly and helpful especially Liam.

Average for NYC
Hotels in NYC are expensive, and they don't offer much in return. This hotel cost us about $215 per night (for 3 people), yet it is barely a two-star hotel. The rooms are not particularly clean, have some old tainted furniture, there is neither breakfast nor wifi included. But that's how the hotels in NYC are. Anywhere else, for the same price you would be staying in a 4-star or 5-star hotel. It is not because the rooms are more expensive in NYC - this hotel has 26 floors. Rather, it is because they can charge you all that money and you really don't have many other options. I wouldn't stay there again - it was too expensive for the quality. You can find similar quality for about 150 dollars in smaller hotels, and you can rent a small apartment for the same money (about $150 per day). But, it is not the worst option either, so if they give you a nice room on a higher floor you may end up with an excellent view of the city...

Great Views
Was on a girl trip with 7 other women. We stayed 4 to a room(One bedroom suite) Was plenty comfortable enough. We did not spend a lot of time in the room but I'm sure it would have been fine had we had to spend a lot of time there. It is not that far to walk to Grand Central Station or to bus stop. The store across the street was also nice. It was our first time to visit NYC, and we all loved it. Can't wait to go back. We might try staying closer to Times Square next time but would not be opposed to staying at the Beekman either! The view from the room was great.

Very helpful
I was very pleased with the staff and the service they provided. Being a first timer to New York, the concierge was helpful in providing transportation and directions to everywhere we needed to go. We also had to call the front desk for assistance many times and was greeted and helped with a very friendly staff. It was a great experience.

Four very satisfied women
Four of us women travelled to New York and shared a room at the Beekman Tower Hotel. All of us truly enjoyed our stay and especially the very attentive friendly service we recieved from the Beekman staff. The staff was very knowlegable of the sites and restaurants and we were not dissapointed of their recomendations. The room was clean and large for a New York Hotel. The room offered a kitchen with microwave, stove, full fridge, toaster and coffee machine. The room also had a separate bedroom and living room area with a sofa bed. The location was about 4 blocks from the busy downtown core which was a nice walk and only about a $4.40 taxi ride to wherever we wanted to go. The Hotel also offered a dining room on the top floor which offered a spectacular view of the city. We our definatley looking forward to our next stay at the Beekman next time we are in New York.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Loads of shopping within a few blocks of the hotel. Major shopping is about 4 blocks and Grand Central Terminal as well as subways are about 15 min walk. A grocery store is located across the street from the hotel which was great to purchase fruits/milk and snacks to enjoy in your hotel room.
