Noisy

The room was overheated and the window did not close, there were trash trucks and jackhammers going all night long. We checked out early.

Great location

the woman ( I have their names at home) at the front desk were very attentive to our needs. We were there for my sons college showcase and meetings with agents. Seemed darker than most places I have been and the breakfast area could use some serious work to make it inviting

Decent Space

The hotel is very easy to miss. The name of the hotel is a small gold tag to the left of the door. Very Tiny Lobby with no privacy from conversation. No bar. Rooms are very small but similar ot other smaller hotels. Interesting that the bathroom was very large and almost a third of the size of the bedroom. Location is OK for being in middle of Theater district. Would look for other place.

Last minute booking

It was a lastminute on-line booking. I was traveling from Europe and booked the hotel before talking off. The hotel was fine, so were the staff and the location. To me, a dissapointment was the poor TV, AC, the lack of soap and the quality of the air. Besides that, like most hotels in the area, the price-quality ration was not in there!

Stay Away: Pictures Don't Do It Justice

The Amsterdam Court looks great on its profile. The hotel has, renovated the lobby, lounge, and restaurant on the first floor. However, the rooms feel run down and the bathrooms have NOT been renovated. They are like stepping into a time machine. The worst part about the stay is that they installed window AC units, but now the windows don't lock! One side of the hotel has fire escapes and roof-tops leaving you and your room unprotected if someone wanted to enter through the window. I will say the staff was friendly.

Into the closet!

We booked 2 rooms. One was adequate and we gave that to our lady associate. Instead of the other room being equivalent, it was the tiniest room I've ever stayed in. There was no desk, no writing surface, no drawers to put clothes in. A tiny room with tiny space around the bed and a tiny curtained hanging space. It was less than minimally adequate. Phone connection to other guest rooms didn't work.
