One must suffer for their passion.

I come to NYC once or twice a year to catch up on theater. From California, it tends to be an expensive habit, as ticket prices are crazy high and hotel rooms fluxuate all over the place. I got a really good rate using an on-line coupon, so I will keep that in mind while reviewing this hotel. Room 201 was painfully small; no chair, no drawers, no desk, no lamps, no closet. Just one creaky double bed. Everything was worn down, dented, thread-bare, etc. I had lowered my expectations in advance, so I got through it. Somehow, this hotel has a friendly and professional staff far surpassing personnel I have encountered in nearby hotels at 3 times the price. I travel solo. Two persons in this room would really test a relationship.

Excellent location,mediocre facility

Property is reasonable for the price. AT&T service did not work in the Hotel, the front desk insisted on the use of the hotel land line for $1 per minute.

Small rooms but really good hotel

It was a good experience, the room was a little small but it was equipped with the expected things, and the location of the hotel is perfect, and the bed of the room was really comfortable.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

There is a cheaper way to move from the hotel to La Guardia air port using the subway and public transportation, so this way you can save some money.

in the city that never sleeps, we slept comfortably

Room was a little tight, my itinerary stated id be getting a queen room, we received a double instead, still comfortable, much more so than the current hotel im staying in. Service was great, however there was no room service, which made it awkward when we got hubgry in the middle of the night, but the restaurant located off the lobby, Natsumi, was incredible, that includes the bar directly across. Exceptional, and delicious. The location was incredible, in the heart of the city you could NOT get any better. Overall experience, 7/10. Very pleased.

Great Location, but

This was my first time in NYC and everything was great except for the bedding in the hotel room. The hotel location was great, staff was helpful and quick to take care of my situation when I reported it. Another guest complained of bedbugs and he was switched to a new room. Overall I would recommed the hotel, but with reservations.
