Good Hotel in a Great Location

I was here over Christmas and I have to say that I was expecting to pay through the nose for a hotel in the Theater District that time of year but I was surprised. It is located between 2 subway stops and there are lots of restaurants and attractions within walking distance.

Slightly small and in need of repair. Was located very close to time square. I expected more for as much as this place cost.

Sweet Location!

We were just a block away from ALL attractions (Times Square, Rockefeller Center etc.) yet distant away from the massive crowds/busyness. The Metro was down the street which took us to/from LGA Airport within 15 mins (WTC, Macy's on 34th Street, Penn Station, ENDLESS all within MINS)! Hotel, was okay. Lobby is pretty/attractive a pale comparison to the rooms you get. Considering your time is spent more enjoying NYC than the room itself, it was great! Bathroom was fairly updated and clean, however, the water pressure was absolutely AWFUL! Not to mention the pool of water you stand on while showering (slow drainage). The hotel is a bit dark, wish they would lighten the look/decor to make it more inviting. Otherwise the place is great for a simple weekend getaway, location is EVERYTHING and the staff is pretty darn amazing as well!

Awful place

The hotel is well located, however the room was extremely small -- barely room for the bed. The shower backed up into the bathtub. There wasn't even a drinking glass for water.

Quick trip for a family wedding

We needed a place to stay and this was a place to stay. Room was tiny, furnishings were barely tolerable, and could barely walk around the bed to get from one side to the other.

New Years getaway

I had the best time in New York and the hotel added to the experience. The location was a amazing and I do mean it, everything was within walking distance and if it wasn't the subway was literally at the end of the street on both sides. I would definitely stay in this hotel again. The only thing was our room was facing a brick wall and the room was small, but it is New York so it wasn't that big of a problem. The staff was really friendly and cared about me as a guest. They even offer a flat rate fee going back to the airport which was great so we didn't have to haul a cab. Overall I'm in love with this hotel great experience and price.
