Birthday Stay
I decided to stay here overnight for my boyfriends birthday. We live in New York but I was looking for a hotel that is a good for location for a night stay without having to travel home. This hotel was GREAT for the price. Very modern look! I even took pictures of the hotel room to model my apatment after! The room was extremely clean and the bathroom was to die for! For the price thought I was going to get something like Motel 6 but this was more like the 5 Seasons!

The best hotel
The best thing about the Hotel is its location because you don't need any transportation to go to time square, and it is very comfortable. Also, it is near to subway and there are a lot of stores for food coffee and entertainment.

Room was fine, a bit small but who cares? Staff were very helpful especially doorman/concierge and front desk. Front desk printed my boarding pass for me. Housekeeping not so great. Good value in an expensive location. Location cannot be beat.

Location was very good, right next to David Letterman theater. No restaurant, only room service. Small bar and elevators were a little shakey. Room was small but was renevated recently along with the bathroom - very nice.

Great Location, Small Room, Average Hotel
Stayed for 2 nights. Room is very small, no closets, but I didn't travel to NY to stay in a room. Location is smack dab in Times Square with shops, restaurants, and Theatres all around. Only disappointment was the continental breakfast. NOTE: NOT FREE. The sign was as small as an index card stating breakfast was $9.95 pp. What a joke. Halfway thru my bagel I was notified of the charge by the clerk. Overall, a nice place to sleep in Times Square.

TKTS!! I will never buy show tickets online again. Half price show tickets right at the booth for same day shows. And both shows I saw were front row Orch for around $80. (Newsies and How to Succeed)

Another Working Lady
Convenient for Business or Pleasure
I stayed for one night at the Ameritania in April 2012. My room was a bit small but clean and had most everything needed- the only notable exception being a coffee maker! (happily there is a Starbucks across street). Staff was wonderfully young, fresh, friendly and helpful. Great location- lots going on, some street noise at night. Not the best if you plan to spend a lot of time in your room- but if you need a convenient, clean and comfortable place to sleep, this works well.

Beautiful hotel, Amazing location!!
Location was great, Hotel was beautiful and rooms very comfortable. Subway station across the street from hotel, Starbucks across the street and parking in parking garage across the street. Very convenient for all your needs!!! 100% Recomend!!

Good Stay - Good Staff
The staff were always pleasant and helpful. The room had a lot of machinery/NYC noise, but it didn't bother me. The AC wasn't working when I checked in. One phone call and a service tech was there in minutes and successfully corrected the situation. Wonderfully located for all midtown/theater activities. Parking discounted to $25. Excellent stay!
