La Quinta Inn Queens (New York City)

The room was clean with basic amenities. It's a little small, but it works. We had a refrigerator in the room. Since we spent most of our time in the city, this was a perfect home base. The train stop is very close and it is a quick ride to Manhattan. The neighborhood is safe and I felt comfortable walking back and forth to the train. There is a 24 hour diner near the hotel that we hit on our way home. The free breakfast at the hotel was pretty basic, but it saved us from buying breakfast. We also used the free parking, which was convenient. Overall an affordable clean bed with good access to transportation and parking.

Passing through NYC and needed a hotel convenient to both Manhattan and JFK airport. The Sunnyside location is perfect, and near my favorite Queens restaurant Salt&Fat. Comfortable king-sized bed, perfectly cordial staff. Nothing above and beyond, but at $150/night excellent value for NYC area.

I needed to have Wi-Fi to prepare for a meeting the next morning, but it was down for the whole night's stay and well into the morning. The staff were pretty unresponsive about this. TV was a CRT with no HDMI input, but oh well, not a big deal. Everything else was fine - good temperature controls (AC unit), good lighting options, hot water.

A good price for being close to NYC. Metro station to the city only a block or two from hotel. We arrived late in evening and there was sufficient parking. Hotel staff was very helpful. The only bad remark is that the halls need to be air-conditioned during the summer, the halls and elevator were very hot & humid at all hours. And there needs to be elevator access from ground or lobby level rather than having to carry your luggage up or down a flight of stairs.

Nice, clean hotel that's conveniently located three blocks from the 40th St station of the 7 train. You can get to Times Sq in about 20 minutes on the weekend. Neighborhood resteraunts and familiar chains are within a few blocks (McDonald's is right across the street). Even at 11 PM I felt comfortable walking along Queens Blvd. I will stay here again.

Stayed for one night. I was lucky to find one last spot in the cramped and limited parking lot. Checked for any traces of bed bugs immediately after checkin, didn't find any. There was some hair on the box spring though. The bathroom door knob was broken. The room was fine overall. The free breakfast was good. Quite close to Subway line 7 station.

The 7 Train is a few blocks away. Level local trains are relatively fast. Lots local food options. Perfect place to stay when visiting Manhattan or Queens. Yes there are better places, but this is NYC so those places can get very expensive very fast

The room is clean,the breakfast is good,the location is not bad,it's about 2 miles away from the United Nations building,and it's very easy to get to the Times Square by subway.But,if you want anything,they always ask you come down to the desk,they don't send it to your room,that's make me feel a little uncomfortable.Except that,everything is excellent.

there is McD nearby, deli, chinese restaurant, burger king and subway station is very close, around 2-3 mins walking. about 30 mins to manhattan. given a basement room which has no window but has a jacuzzi inside. Breakfast is included, with fresh fruits, cereal, bagel and donut.

I go to New York abouth every three months, and I always stay at this Hotel. It is very clean, and quite , The only Hotel that I know of that has Free Parking . The free breakfast bar is always nice with pleanty of food. All of the Employees are very nice.
