Family getaway
The hotel is very good, the room prices are great, near a subway station even better to get anywhere you want to NYC. There's a Seven-11, and others dinners just around the hotel . One thing needs to be improve, in the breakfast service, serve cold cuts too, every day serving eggs its not a variety.

Cheap place to stay close to Manhattan
I was really glad to find a budget-friendly hotel to stay on the week of Thanksgiving. Overall, the hotel was nice. The hotel is only a block from a subway station (line 7 that takes you to Times Square). The commute to the Times Square was less than 20 minutes including walking and waiting time. Neighborhood is not too shady and I felt safe walking at night. There is a 7-11 store right next to the building. The parking is VERY LIMITED with 15-20 spaces that are under video surveillance 24/7. The room is small like most New York hotels but is equipped with a mini refrigerator and a coffee machine. Free Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfast are also included. I stayed on the top floor which is the 6th, and the one and only elevator was super slow. The door to the adjacent room was really close though I did not mind until later. The room I stayed faced the subway rail and the noise was moderate. Nothing to keep you awake after a long and tired day of walking in NY City unless you are a very light sleeper. My only issue with this hotel was rude guests who stayed next to me. Here is why the doors close to each other became a huge problem. People who stayed in adjacent rooms were determined to go and reserve a spot for Thanksgiving Parade early on. Too bad I wasn’t. At around 4:30 am, people, probably friends of next door guests, knocked on the door to the adjacent room but sounded like they were knocking on mine. Then they slammed the door which shook the walls not bothering to consider other guests could be staying in same hotel, same floor, and possibly right next door with ‘Do not disturb’ sign. For about 30 minutes, after several knocking, door slamming, wall shaking, and loud chattering, they finally decided to stop torturing me and headed out. I was wide awake and frustrated by then and had hard time going back to sleep. Next two nights were fine (the guests next door left or took a cue from me intentionally slamming the door) so I guess if you avoid days with the parade or any kind of events that attracts huge crowd early in the morning, your stay should be enjoyable.

Never book this hotel
Upon check in the Lobby was smokey. The first room, they gave me I went in and immediately turned around because of the smoke smell. This room was supposed to be non smoking. Then they offer me another room on the bottom level, and it was damp and moldy. Another room was offered and it too had an awful smell. The NEXT room I tried smelled better but after hanging out in the room, started to cough uncontrollably. This hotel retused to refund my money. Needless to say, I did not stay in this hotel. I logged a complaint that I am waiting to hear back on. I am now in the process of writing a letter to the corporate offices, Clyde Guinn, President. This hotel is very small and sits on a corner with about 6 parking spaces. The rooms are boxes, with very little walking room. The rooms are very close, the hall ways are very small. This holtel needs to choose whether it will be a smoking or non smoking hotel, becasue due to the closeness of the rooms, if you are next to a smoking room, your room which is not smoking might as well be smoking. the air quality in the hotel itself is very poor. And to boot, the customer rep lied. "I only have 2 rooms. But when I started to complain, the manager comes out and now he has 10 rooms available...Was I supposed to inspect all 10 rooms after the first 4....I THINK NOT!!!..Save your $$$.

Should be cheaper
Overall im only comlaining abot the price. Also bed was not as comfy. Close train ride into city. Also ice rink and food close by. But tv is horrible. Only 40 or so not to great channels. Also i liked this but i know people wont, the 7 train is right next to the hotel, so when it goes through it makes some noise. Other then that, it is an over priced then what i would of paid for.

Celan rooms, friendly staff
I chose this hotel because of the proximity to Manhattan. The rooms were small, but very clean. The bathroom was also very clean. Also, the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.
