The Trip was Very Nice!
The hotel was very nice. The room we stayed in was small but it was very neat and clean. The location was convieniet to the SubStation. You could literally walk 3 mins and your there. There was a nice resturant on the corner that sold breakfast, lunch, and dinner; all three were fanastic. One thing that I didn't like about the hotel was the elevator. There is only one, which means you have to stand there and wait for the elevator to hit all floors if there were someone waiting. The hotel also had a variety of breakfast iteams, but I was expecting the waffles you make yourself. They had store bought. The staff were very nice and room service was right on time with everything. I would stay at the hotel again. But only because of the price the tidiness of the rooms and the short way to the the substation.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Money Savers tip is when going to NYC, especially if it's your first time or your not familiar with the area, please buy a metro 7 day pass card depending on how long your going to be there. That means you can get lost as much as you want to for only $29 and still get everywhere you need to go. You wont have to keep spending $2 everytime you get on the bus or train. Do not spend your money on getting car service or a cab. Take the bus soon as you get to the airport to the substation and by the metro card to go anywhere. My mistake was purchasing shuttle from the airport to our hotel in Long Island City and them not having a shuttle that goes there. Then we paid for car service which was $30 and we looked at the map and saw that there was a train and bus that got straight to the airport. So do your research!

Good value and location.
The location one subway stop from Manhattan can't be beat. In Queens, it's close to P.S. 1 Museum, the Isamu Noguchi garden and museum, and the Socrates Garden on the East River. Staff is courteous and cleaning staff happy and cheerful. Great continental breakfast with other guests from all over the world. Good price.

Convenient location @ a cost of comfort
Conviniently located to subway (2 different lines) and few 24/7 eating places. Since I have mites allergy, every new morning give me severe signs on the body. Otherwise is fine.

Close to subway
Housekeeping crew tends to be loud in the hallway when working. The view was nothing to look at, there was a dumpster right across from my window. TV makes static noise, internet connection is slow if trying to watch shows online. The place has a smell sometimes.

Excellent hotel!
If you're going to NYC to explore the city and not veg in a hotel, this is perfect! The rooms are small but clean and nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. The subway is about a block away from the hotel and there is a convenient deli on the corner that's open late (except Sundays). I have absolutely no complaints about the hotel whatsoever. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat if I ever go back to NYC!

Close to subway and easy to find !
We stayed there for two nights. The Staff was very nice, even though We arrived late at night. It was really easy to find from Queensboro plaza station and took just few minutes. We took #60 bus from LGA airport and transfer to N subway at Astoria Blvd station. And also, easy access to Manhattan.Good location and Good price with continental berakfast. Just room was quite small.

Would stay there again.
This was our first trip to New York City. The staff at the hotel were very helpful with directions and subway tips. The subway platform is a 2 minute walk from the front door and a 5 minute ride into times square. Great location for the price. The only complaint I have is the breakfast area is to small for the number of guest, and the refill on the food was slow. Other than that the rooms were very small , but clean. We are planning to stay there again this summer.

Short walk from hotel
Buy the one week unlimited metro card for the subway if you are going to be there for more than 3 days. The subway is the cheapest and at times the easiest form of travel in the city. Easy to follow maps and signs at every stop. Have Fun!

Not so bad
Location is not so bad if you have no choice to stay at Manhattan. Metro is near the hotel ad it's easy to get to Manhattan. The hotel is little bit old but clean.
