BEST WESTERN Plaza Hotel

The staff was nice. The breakfast was great, but the breakfast room was too small. In fact, a lot of people were standing up while having their breakfast. The hotel should make that room bigger. The cleaning ladies are not good at their job since the rooms were not so clean. The room was obviously cleaned the first day (check-in day); but, there was a noticeable lack of consistency in the cleaning of the room after the first day...

Hotel has outdoor parking for 6 cars. The underground garage has very limited space. Also make sure you're not driving a big car because you're going to get stuck trying to maneuver. The wall has evidence that lots of cars have scraped it trying to make the turn. Front desk guy said we could "try" to park on the street but be warned that the projects are at the corner. Also the signs say you can't park on the streets anywhere legally between Mon-Fri.

1. In NYC its really hard to fins a nice hotel for the "ok" price and good location. This hotel is just perfect really close to Manhattan : subway (just 1 min walking distance) or rental. 2. Its really good if the Hotel have a restaurant or something where u can buy a food especially in the morning (im being super lazy to get out of the hotel to go to eat somewhere). Best Western Hotel have a breakfast including already in price for the room! 3. If u get a chance to book the view from the right side ur staying in hotel will b amazing. Right side is Manhattan view side.

Very friendly staff, room was nice. Very little parking so luckily, we got the last spot!

We arrived later in the evening, starved for some food, the staff had a several menus for delivery so that we could finally go to our room and relax. The menus were from quality places, and the food was easy to enjoy in the well furnished room with a big screen TV and city view. Upon checkout we slept in and were not rushed out the door, but given an extra hour to get our things together without any fees or penalties. A truly hospitable hotel and staff. Great job.

hotel is close to manhattan right off subway F, great value, comfortable room, compared to what you can get in manhattan. No good restaurant near the hotel so you better find your dinner in manhattan or other areas of Queens before you come to hotel for lodging.

WE BOOKED A MONTH IN ADVANCE TO STAY AT THE BEST WESTERN. MY CARD WAS CHARGED AND I WAS GUARANTEED TO STAY IN A ROOM WITH TWO DOUBLE BEDS, WHEN WE GOT THERE , OH AND KEEP IN MIND WE DROVE FIVE HOURS FROM BOSTON, MA THE LADY IN THE FRONT TOLD US THAT ALL THE ROOMS WERE TAKEN AND WE HAD TO STAY AT THE HOWARD JOHNSON. WHEN I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER SHE SAID HE WAS NOT IN OR BUSY AND THAT HE WOULD CALL ME BACK, AND NEVER DID. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER. THIS WAS THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE. I WILL NEVER AGAIN BOOK WITH THE BEST WESTERN.

The parking space is limited but the general environment is pretty good. It's relatively safe and pretty close to the subway system. Very valuable!

It's a nice place to stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was not a big room but is nice. The bed was huge :). The hotel is not in some expensive area, and the view is not very good (at least during the day). However it is close to the metro station and that is huge advantage. I will definitely stay there again.

The printer wasn't working correctly, then they couldn't fix it at all so we had to go to the hotel next door to print! They didn't even apologize about that. They had direct TV and the weather was rainy so we had poor TV reception. They did not have packages of hot oatmeal that I like to eat at the breakfast buffet, only cheerios. They also did not have decaffeinated tea.
