Just what i needed
It was a very nice hotel...the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable...close to the airport and the university...it was just what i needed.

Not that great
Beds were uncomfortable and the rooms seemed old and in need of updating. My back hurts and it never hurts. Stains on carpet and general cleanliness was lacking.

If you don't mind a little noise
The staff, restaurant/bar and front desk were all great. The room however had walls so thin you could hear everything above, below, and to the side. There are also no sidewalks so you have to drive anywhere you want to go. Hope you like drinking.

Short drive from hotel
Fishing on Lake Oneida with a boat would probably make the experience MUCH better. 1000 lakes is just 90 minutes away.

The On Purpose Tourist
Above My Expectations
I had booked this hotel after reading some of the reviews and was more than pleased with the quality of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was far more spacious than I had expected and was very comfortable. I would absolutely stay again if I found myself in the area.

July 4th Family Visit
After a long drive, quick dinner and visit with family, went to check in at 11pm, and hotel showed my reservation cancelled. Further was told that I would have to deal with it to get cleared up. After back and forth with hotel and customer service for a half hour, finally able to get a room for the four prepaid nights I booked, after being told I should have called the hotel direct for them to match the rate. The carpet in the room had not been vacuumed or it wasn't a good job, as I stepped on pebbles left by the last guest, saw cobwebs on the ceiling, there only two little smallish towels in bathroom for me to share with my partner, had to keep asking for more, no laundry bag. The king bed was hard, with no mattress pad cover, no extra blankets, etc. Staff did not clean the room one of the days we were there, toilet seat was partially broken, and toilet bowl needed a good cleaning. Continental breakfast was sufficient, and bar was ok. Good location and deal, but after this being my second stay here, will pay the extra money to stay across the street as I have been doing the past few visits.
