Week-end away

check in was delayed- and they kept telling us the room would be ready in one hour, then another hour. the room was small- only a bed and a desk- no chair etc. but the worst was the noise from the live band in the restaurant one floor below our room. No soundproofing and it went on until 11:30 Friday and Sat nights. It was so lund you could not hear the TV. The hotel staff was borderline rude.

Still Waiting For That Return Call

This hotel was fine in many ways. We had a room far away from the bar so it was quiet & comfortable. However, the sheets felt like sandpaper & we were charged an additional $2.50 fee for what they said were "resort fees." With all due respect Liverpool NY in Dec is a far cry from Fort Lauderdale. In fairness we were "told" of this fee in the registration forms we signed, but who reads that after a 7 hr drive. When we checked out we were initially told we owed this fee. Then a woman, who I took to be a Mngr, said we were all set. When I checked my credit card bill later I saw the fee. I called & was told the mngr was away. I left a message, and 3-4 wks later am still waiting for that return call.

Very Nice Reasonably priced

As most realize you do not know what to really expect until you get there. I had read other reviews and expected reasonable quality. We were very much surprised and impressed. Large rooms, clean, nice continental breakfast and close to downtown. I would stay there again anytime I am in that area.

Cooperstown Experience

It was very nice in the room. The staff was very helpful with directions. Two things were a little below average. The shower in room 124 was very loud. It kind of "whistled" when turned on. Also, we ended up having to pay an extra day car rental because the shuttle didn't run until 6:00 AM. Our flight was at 6:00 AM so we had to rent our vehicle an extra day. We thought when we booked the motel, we would be able to return the car earlier and just take the shuttle back in Sunday morning. It didn't work that way. There are flights that leave that early.

Business trip. Great stay.

Very clean. Great location close to the airport and to downtown Syracuse. The staff was exremely friendly and helpful. This was my first trip to Syracuse and was unfamiliar with the area. The shuttle service was great. Not only did they shuttle me from the airport as soon as I called but they took me to my meeting downtown. As a result I did not have to rent a car. The on-site restaurant was very good. Good selection on the menu, what I ordered was very well prepared (the glazed pearl onions were excellent) and the service was outstanding.

Overnight stay

Staff was very friendly. We arrived late and tired so they were quick with check in. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a little on the skimpy side and small area to eat, but overall, I would stay here again.

Clean, Quiet, Close to Airport

Chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and appeared to be close to the airport and near the University. Hotel was clean and quiet, although the bathroom smelled a little funky. Staff could have been a little friendlier. Smiles would have helped. The hotel is right off the interstate, so easy to get wherever you need to go. The breakfast was adequate, a fairly good selection for a quick bite in the morning to get you started. I would recommend this hotel to others who are looking for basic, clean accommodations in the Syracuse area.
