Hampton Inn Syracuse-North (Airport Area)

So-So, the room was clean, but the bed was not great. Breakfast was pretty bad.

My son goes to Syracuse University and my daughter and I went to visit him for the weekend. I have to say that this hotel visit was a delightful surprise. We were greeted nicely at the desk and we entered our room which was spotless. It had all the things we needed for a short stay, such as coffee maker, blow dryer and iron. There was a cute little breakfast, eating area that was filled with scents of homemade waffles and coffee. The beds were comfortable and the drive to the University was convenient and short. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I will go back!!

Clean, attractive place, pleasant people at front desk, food and snacks available at all times. Plenty of people around so when I was alone in room I felt quite safe. Also, I needed something extra and was easily obliged. The front desk people were VERY nice and the space was very clean. If you don't need extravagance and entertainment to make you happy when you travel, this place is just fine.

Stayed for one night, the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. There were 1or 2 restaurants around the hotel but the Subway sub shop looked like it would have better food.

This was a quick trip to the area for a funeral, so we didn't have much time to plan and research the trip. My priority was vicinity to the cemetary and funeral home and price. The hotel was the highlight of the trip. Everything worked and we had everything we needed in the room, the staff was friendly, the continental breakfast was more than adequate and the parking lot was plowed from the snow that fell overnight. The front desk clerk even had a snow brush/ice scraper she let me use to remove the snow from my car in the morning.

When we arrived we were asked which floor we would like to be on and were given 3 choices. About ten minutes after we got to the room they called to see if it was satisfactory. I have never had a hotel do that before. The only downside was a family next door that was up at five in the morning and we could hear everything they were saying. I guess a lot of hotels could use more sound proofing between rooms though. All in all it was a great stay!!

Our room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. No bed bugs! Close to shopping and eating establishments. Make sure the address is in Liverpool and not in Syracuse. Our GPS unit took us to the Syracuse address. According to the personnel at the Hampton Inn this occurs quite frequently. I have never been disappointed with their accomodations.

Spent three nights here with my elderly mother; we appreciated the sincerely friendly and helpful staff, the spotlessly clean rooms, the comfortable beds with premium linens, the extensive breakfast bar, the always available coffee/tea/cookies/popcorn. Definitely an oasis even though located right off an interstate. No noise problem at all, except briefly some other guests in the parking lot one night.

Great hotel and right off the highway. Easy to find and very comfortable, well done.
