Fairfield Inn by Marriott Syracuse Clay

We just planned a family get away from home to relax and swim. Not sure if i would come back to this location. A few of the staff members were super friendly then others not so much. I felt the hotel wasnt very clean,breakfast not much to offer, should have another microwave had to wait awhile to warm a sandwich up.

We stayed at this hotel because it was about 20 minutes from the NYS Fair. The room service was great, and the pool is a good size. The hot tub is always a plus. The fact that the hotel was smoke-free was a real bonus. Definitely would book this hotel again in the future. The breakfast buffet could be a little tastier, but there was still enough offered to start your day.

The room was nice (non-smoking) and very clean. Staff was very friendly.

The Fairfield Inn in Liverpool, while trying to be accommodating was anything but....lots of apologies though.... Our first night was fine...and it went downhill from there. I tore a whole in my foot on the metal mattress/boxspring bar that was extended too far from the bottom of the bed - lots of swelling and discomfort....got an apology for that. Then, maid service was always forgetting something...coffee, towels, emptying ice bucket...making bed...but the best..was the key cards. Apparently they were having issues and we ended up with three seperate replacements because our cards just wouldn't work. It was very inconvenient since our room was just about the furthest from the lobby/front desk. We had to stay there several days, because there weren't any other facilities close to where we needed to be, other wise we would have left after the first two days. Staff was friendly enough, but I don't want aplolgies - these were all things that should have been cared for, as a simple matter of efficiency and professionalism.
