Albany Airport Ramada - Latham

The hotel was very uncomfortable. It was in disrepair. They put us poolside. The pool was green with algae and a close sign at the gate. The room had not been vacuumed, someone's cloths were in a draw. There was only a sheet on the bed, no blanket. The tv was old and no remote. The clock could not be set to the correct time. No toilet paper, mold in the bathtub. The plastic about the tub was pulling away.Only one bath towel issued. It was full of men living there long term. [...]

Hotel room had people already in it, new room had no towels, pool out of service, and maid did not clean room.

I should have turned around and walked out after seeing all the peeling paint on the building and how we were told the pool was broken. The pool was one of the reasons we booked it. Then we got in the room. Feces smears in the toilet, dirty mirrors, dusty furniture, just plain gross. But we were tired from the trip and just decided to stay(although we did ask the miserable maid service to actualy clean the place. Ahhh, then the free breakfast. Missing utensils, bugs in the case where muffins were and food all over the floor. With that we just left. This place is cheap and gross

Well let me start with the over all hotel. It was very, very dirty. The paint was coming off the walls, the carpet in the rooms were stained with god knows what. No working ice machines. It was in the high 90's and the pool was unuseable. The water was a dark green color. We stayed 4 nights, and the 3rd day there, we didn't get maid service, so we had no clean sheets, towels, etc. The grounds and the staircases look like they have never been sweeped or cleaned. The over all stay was the worst I've ever had and would never ever recommed the Ramada Inn in Latham,NY to anyone.

Hotel is OK. From the front all you see is enterprise rental agency. Inside people are nice enough, hotel is relatively clean but looks and feels old and in need of a major renovation. Lots of stains on carpets, beds clean, toilet will only flush if you remove the cover. Not a bad place to grab a nights sleep, certainly not anything to want to return to next time I am in the area.

[...]never sent over the fax to the Ramada for my reservation. The Ramada did everything they could to accomodate us; they didn't have any rooms ready and got one ready specifically for us and also made sure we got a refund from [...]. I give the Ramada a wonderful rating for this one [...].

Whole visit was not a good experience,stayed 3 nights, except the personnel..they tried to accommodate, appears owner trying to redo hotel on a slim budget. Looked just ok from outside..upon arrival. Checked in gave us a terrible room..(res..said: King bed..)room had a very small bed & it was for handicapped, we are retired but still "moving" pretty good, complained..moved us to a much better room..on scale 1(-) to 5(+) 3, not enough towels etc..but better.After looking around, it appeared they were doing renovations...outside total mess, very dirty, debris everywhere..hadn't been cleaned in long time. Spoke w maid..(only 1 maid for 163 units??) Said she'd take care of our complaints..(said you know if you don'r like it you can always move)but never did...spoke w desk person..sent a "fellow" who changed bed etc...nice but just not up to par..[...]

This is an old and not well kept up Ramada hotel which I would never stay at again. It was not clean, I would not walk on the carpet without shoes, the shower rod fell off the wall, the air conditionerwas miminal and the breakfast was miminal at best. I will not utilize this hotel again and I travel to this area every month.

Excellent location. Well kept grounds. Room extremely clean and bed very compfy. Excellent complimentary breakfast bar but they had only one person working multi-jobs so took awhile to replenish. Front desk staff terrific. Was in the tri-city area for two days visiting relatives I hadn't seen in 20 years.
