Beautiful Resort
The Mirror Lake Inn has a very friendly and accomodating staff that understand the importance of pleasing their guests. The hotel's location allows for easy walking to town and the Lake Placid marina. The overall facility is very clean and the decor is an elegant victorian style with beautiful fireplaces and wood paneling.

Short drive from hotel
We enjoyed our visit to the Wild Center in Tupper Lake. It is a 32 mile trip (45 minutes), but well worth it.

Beautiful place to stay !!
this was the first time to visit and it was a great experience !! Being there during the Olympics was probably a added plus to it all and the snow fell at perfect timing !! We met [...]... the son of the owners of the resort who won the bronze in the big G at the olympics and it was soooo cool ! We loved everything about the place ! Very quaint !

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
We hit about 6 different bars in one night and they were all a fun time and we didn't have to walk far. Great time with friends and strangers :)

Mirror Lake Inn
There are so many things to do in the inn and the surrounding town of Lake Placid, even though we were in between their prime seasons, that it was hard to fit it all in one weekend. It was great to have so many choices and a relaxing place to come back to.
