Agreat place to stay in Lake Placid
The staff at the front desk was fantastic our room was in the same wing as a group of tween campers I requested a differant room after some noise in the hallway our second night. The front desk not only gave us another room they upgraded us to a suite and offered to help move us. We were very happy with the hotel, the staff, and it's decor. We would stay again. We had a wonderful experiance.

Nice decor
We stayed for one night at the king suite. Loved the comtemporary decor. Enjoyed a good night's sleep on the fine mattress. Did not use the pool but did notice quite a few people in there even at 11pm! The front desk personnels were friendly while checking in, but did seem to evade eye-contact every time we passed them later (no biggie, but seemed kinda rude!) Even though we had placed a special request for a portable crib for our baby it wasn't in the room when we arrived. Not a big issue because they sent one as soon as we called the front desk enquiring about it. The bar had a decent selection and the lounge area was comfortable enough for a quick drink. Overall a good experience and would recommend to others.

Good base for training
We stayed two nights at this hotel to do training for Ironman Lake Placid. The hotel was clean and quiet. The location is right on the course for the run and bike portion of the race.

Great Stay
This was a great stay from start to finish. The front desk staff was fantastic and very nice and helpful. They have a great stand with brochures for different attractions in the area. If you leave the hotel and go right, you are about 5 minutes from downtown Lake Placid. If you go left, you are about 5 minutes from the Olympic bobsled runs. (A very fun experience!) Also, going without saying, the room was large and clean. I highly recommend this hotel to someone else.

Located on one strip, it is very easy to get to, the parking is very cheap and the walk is very nice.

Sliding center fan
Good amenities, excellent staff
Hotel was clean and in good condition. Staff made every effort to see we were comfortable. Location is very convenient to the sliding center as it's right on the edge of town, but too far to walk to the restaurants which are all up on the lake.

Great wintery destination
This is possibly one of the nicest Hotels in Lake Placid area! Practically brand new facility with excellent accomodations and attentive and pleasant staff.
